Hi I'm Clara and I play sims 3. I have sims 4 demo but I can't say I'm keen on it. I have a black lab called Sally and we are getting a dark grey cairn terrier called Sindy. I also have two Guinea pigs called Bobby and Fluffy. Bobby is a sheltie and Fluffy is an Abyssinian. I have a sister called Lydia who is also obsessed with sims. We used to have the sims freeplay but then there was a rubbish update which destroyed the whole game so we were introduced to the sims 3. P.S. Does anyone know where I can download some nice maternity clothes for my sims? Thanks

Hello @ClaraMaria123 It is nice to meet you. Welcome to the forums!
It is nice that both you and your sisters are simmers. You would enjoy simming together and talking about the sims that each of you have in your game. It is great that you have a lab and guinea pigs! Labradors are very special dogs. It is exciting that you are soon getting a new terrier! She will be another special animal member of your family household.
Perhaps you may like to post your question about finding maternity clothes in the Sims 3 General Discussions section of the forums. There may be simmers there that can help you with finding the clothing. http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/categories/general-discussion-en
Happy simming!

Hello ! You can call me Candy. I live in France and I started playing the Sims 3 just after its release. I'm originally a Spore player and was very involved in the French community. Now I play both the Sims 3 and Sims 2, which I like equally although they're so different ; I play one or the other depending on my mood. My style of play is somewhat "experimental", I love mods and learning about the way games are coded to improve my personal experience with them. As I played on Mac for many years, I have some experience of bugs on it and I hope I can help some Mac players. I'm also a whovian and I love the sims' creative potential in making these kinds of stories and characters !

Hello @Candyd It is nice to meet you. Welcome to the forums!
It is nice that you first started simming by playing Sims 3 when it was first released. You would have enjoyed spending many fun and enjoyable simming hours over the years playing Sims 2 and 3! It is great to choose which version to play depending on what you feel like playing that day or which sims household that you would like to play.
Simming is a great way to express our creativity! It is fun also! It is great that we can build a variety of types of homes and venues, and can create background details and stories for our sims
Happy simming!
Hey everyone! I've never actually introduced myself so here goes! My name's Mia and I've been an avid Sims player since TS1 and played every iteration/expansion of each so far and loved it. I love to build but enjoy family play also. Both my husband and I enjoy playing games in our spare time (though he has never played the sims!!!). My 3 year old daughter also loves helping me build and furnish! Hope this evening finds you all well x

Hello @MiaA90 It is nice to meet you. Welcome to the forums!
It is nice that you have been simming since the original sims 1 and have played each of the game versions and EP packs. Simming is enjoyable and lots of fun! Building is an enjoyable part of simming! It is fun bringing our design ideas into sims gameform and deciding on what furnishings to use in the homes or venues. It is nice that both you and your husband are gamers. Sending a big " wave " and a " sunshine smile " to your daughter!
Happy simming!
Hello, my name is Sierra and I'm from the Midwestern US. I'm a grad student currently working on a sims-related thesis, because I'm nerdy like that. I've been a simmer since TS1, and my favorite part of the game is CAS. While I loved the detail allowed in building personalities and other particulars in TS3, I think the TS4 sims look much better and the loading time is of course way faster. My youngest sister is also a simmer, so we often will send each other pictures or Facetime to show each other our sims.

It is nice that you have been simming since the original sims 1. You would have enjoyed creating and playing many sims households over the time and seeing their sims life stories being told as you watched them live in your games. It is very enjoyable creating sims in CAS and deciding on what clothing that they will wear for the different categories of outfit types.
It is great that you and your sister are simmers You would enjoy chatting about The Sims, talking about the sims that are in your game and enjoy staring pictures of your sims with each other.
I hope that your work on your sims related thesis continues to go very well. It would be a very interesting subject for you to do research on and write about.

Hello, I started playing sims (pc) on my cousins computer back in 2010 (maybe 11?) but any way, we were visiting family and they put me on the sims three...I spent that whole trip playing the game but after that, I went home and didn't get my copy of the sims three until October 2014, a moth after the sims four was realised but any way, in July 2015 I decided let's buy it, and I've been playing both ever since...before I got the sims four though, my uncle got me a copy of the sims two so between getting that, I pretty much played that non stop. I also occasionally play the sims one, I got all those off of eBay
I preordered the Sims City Living Game. It says the payment and order cleared in my history. But with the new Origin setup now I can't figure out how to install the thing. Does anyone know what to do?

Hello @Burniboy2002 It is nice to meet you. Welcome to the forums!
It is nice that your cousin first introduced you to playing the Sims when you were visiting family. It is great that then led you to buy your own copirs of Sims 3 and Sims 4, and have fun playing the game at your own home also. It was kind of your uncle to buy you Sims 2.
You would enjoy deciding on which version of the game to play depending on how you are feeling that day and which sims household that you would like to play.

Hello @sixdeadqueens
City Living has not been released yet. It is not released until October 31st at midnight Est for US players and November 3rd for other places in the world. If you have in your origin settings "keep my game uptodate" , when you log into origin after the time of the release of the EP, it will automatically install.
Oh okay! Thank you! I must've misread it! I am not too computer savvy, as evidenced by all of my questions. I figured I just wasn't navigating the newer Origin format correctly. Whoops!

@rosemow I've seen you around the forums many times, but I figured I would contribute to this thread anyways.
I've been simming since 2007, starting with Sims 2. I was introduced to the franchise when I was a child, with the original Sims. I played it at friends houses and loved it, however my family's computer was not that great so I could not own it for myself. Finally when I was in college and had my own laptop, I got Sims 2 for myself and adored it of course. I now own TS2 Ultimate Collection through origin.
I've been here on the forums since Sims 3 launched, so about 7.5 years. I haven't always been active, but the fact remains that I'm still here.
So I've played TS3 since launch. It is my favorite iteration and I own all the expansions and stuff packs and most of the store.
I got Sims 4 at launch and to be honest I have not played it all that much since I bought it. It has not drawn me in like 2 and 3 did. I do like playing it from time to time, and I own up to Romantic Garden/Spa Day/Get Together as far as expanded content goes. I do plan on getting Kids Stuff, Backyard Stuff, Dine Out and City Living next month though.
I am getting back into 4 at this time by starting a Build Newcrest Legacy. I want to give it a real shot this time and get to know the game as much as I can, because I do like it and want to enjoy it to its fullest potential.
Whew, that was a lot! See everyone around, and Happy Simming!
Hello this is more of a re-introduction for me as I have been away for about five months. I have been apart of the Sims since 2001 when I first purchases Sims Deluxe. The minute I loading into the Newbies home, and helped their relationship and fixed up their home, I was hooked lol. I was quite active in the Modeling section of this forum for some time. I think my favorite character of all time is Mortimer Goth, but I also love the Bachelor Family from TS3 and the Pleasants from TS2. I have tried many, many, many tims to have a successful legacy or story going, but it never seemed to flow right or it was bad timing lol. So I am gonna give it another go as well. To all thew new members welcome, this is a wonderful community. Just Keep Simming
