These were quite intense chapters! I'm so glad Shai's okay though, especially for Gabriel! Mixed feelings about George's death. I want to be happy, but he's just another person who needed help in my eyes.... I'm glad Angel got her memories back though!
I was not sure were to post this or if I should make a new thread. I decided to post it here. It is for the short story challenge in October.

Blurred
My breath was burning in my lungs. My feet were bleeding. My eyes couldn’t focus. Blurred. Everything seemed blurred. Fear was running down my spine. I stopped and tried to get some air again. I couldn’t stop. It was following.
Steps. Steps. Searching for me. No. Need to run. Need to escape. I ran. I ran even though the walls started spinning. I ran and the air felt like mud keeping me from running faster.
Hands. Two hands laid down on my shoulders. No. It wouldn’t get me! It couldn’t. I tried to fight against it. My vision was blurred.
I bit it. The blood left a metallic taste in my mouth. It let me go. I ran. I ran until it felt as if my lungs would explode any minute.
The stairs to get down were in its direction.
No, this was no option. Up. I needed to get higher. Maybe I could reach a telephone there.
I took always two steps. I left a bloody trace on the steps. I had to. My feet were bleeding.
I turned around. Just a moment. There was no blood.
I reached the second floor. Steps behind me.
Faster. I needed to be faster.
No time to search for a telephone. I looked around. There had to be a weapon. The fire made huge shadows. Shadows which were swallowing my body. Shadows which wanted to pull me deeper inside of them. My heart raced like the one of a bird. Too fast. Not normal.
Why was it so fast? The steps came closer again. Too close. Maybe I should hide. I couldn’t ran much more. I opened the door to the office. I wanted to lock the door. No key. I was lost. It would kill me. I knew it. It would torture me. It would let me bleed.
No. I wouldn’t let it. I ran to the door to the balcony. I was trying to open it but it wasn’t moving. Open!
The sound of an opening door behind me let me shriek. It was here and I was trapped.
“Sarah, turn around.”
I couldn’t think straight. Did I knew this voice? I couldn’t control my body. I looked at my attacker. Blurred. My vision was still blurred. It had no eyes. No mouth. No face. Just wobbling flesh. His hand was bleeding. I did that. It was red. It was no human. Couldn’t be. It knew my name.
Suddenly a click sound. The balcony door was open. I ripped the door. I made a quick gaze back. It had ran to me. Too late. It was too late. I jumped. I saw how it had reached the railing. No. Not it. He. It was a he. I knew him. I knew him. No. Leo …
The impact took my breath, my fear, my pain …
Leo
One year had passed since Sarahs mental breakdown. Her wounds from the fall had healed very quick. It had been just the second floor after all. Since eight months I was allowed to visit her in the asylum. She had no hallucinations since that time but she was so afraid. Afraid of every shadow and every voice she didn’t know. The doctors said that it may had something to do with the death of her parents but they didn’t know it for sure. Neither did I. I felt guilty for it too. I had tried to calm her even though I had seen how afraid she was.
I looked around in the visitor room. She sat there very quiet. Her hair was falling down in her face. I was the only one who visited her. Nobody else did. Her uncle hadn’t been here for once. He should have taken care for Sarahs fortune until she got 21. Now it could be that she never would be able to get what belongs to her. Sarah had never cared about money. She just missed her family.
I went to her. A shy smile came over her lips.
She was so beautiful. Even now. I sat down and stroke softly over her tiny hand. The smile got broader. I loved her for so long now. I loved her as my best friend. I loved her as a lover did. I loved her with every inch of my body. I just had never told her. Maybe would never. She was locked here like a princess in a tower, waiting for her prince to rescue her. I just wasn’t the one. I couldn’t do anything before her uncle signed the releasing papers.
“The psychiatrist won’t keep her for much longer. She is not mental ill.”
The man turned around. He walked to a little safe and opened it.
“You still need money, right?”
The other man gave just a quick nod in agreement.
While continuing speaking the man walked closer to the other. He showed him a little bottle in his own hand.
“One or two drops should be enough. The last time it worked better than I had imagined.”
Hi, Angel Fans! Just wanted to let you know that we're talking about "Angel in the Darkness" this weekend at Book Club! Hope you can join us! And it's extra special because it's an early birthday party for @Marialein ! Hope to see you there!

@Marialein This was so chilling! I had to read it twice to figure out what was going on. Great entry!
I was so happy to see this update! I loved the ballroom scene.
So it seems Lumen is falling in love with Angel. I'm wondering if there's any relation between Angel and Marlise - could Angel be Marlise's descendant? Can't wait to find out!

Oh my baby is back and he's in so much pain. Well it's good you feel bad about what you did it means you have a conscience unlike some people. I don't condone violence often but I'll let this one slide cause you're a cutie plus your life doesn't need anymore stress. Poor Angel I hope she's staying sane with out Gabe.
Aww...poor Gabe. Punching kids out won't help even though it relieves stress, it can create more. I wonder if one of these girls is a future girl friend? They're very pretty!

Gabe has more of his father than you and he might know. And lets say it just like this, this was just the beginning of Gabriels struggles and problems. As for Angel she still has Lumen sometimes as company

No it really won't help. As for the girls I won't say too much now. Just that you can thank @Maladi777 for making Mia

Actuelly not everything was a dream. Until the point Angel came everything really happened while Lumen was still Raphael.
