Also, I've never seen the Sale page with a second tab! Is this a new change? I also saw someone mention is the store still messed up. I guess I missed some interesting stuff?

Gifting is messed up, ads are messed up, daily deals are messed up, weekly sales are a little messed up. That's the list so far, I don't know if people are having trouble with buying stuff for themselves but I can imagine that's also messed up. And My Pages are doing the Tomcat Apache thing more often as of lately.

@JovialJoy it worked this time, thank you! And yes @Tamaek I lost him at the end of this summer to a lengthy sickness. My grandparents took my sister and I in after our parents separated and situations were difficult. They raised us for the majority of my life (15+ years until I flew the nest). He was my father/grandfather/best friend. But as I've told everyone around me, he is much better of where he is, than here hurting!

Oh, we share the same fate. When my parents split when I was 4 I was given to my grandparents and my brother lived with my mother. I was raised by them for 10 years before I moved out to live with my father and my stepmother, but she still only lived/lives 5 houses away lol. I have the same relationship with my grandma that you have with your granddad. She's still fine and fit at the age of 80 and even just underwent a spinal surgery because of spinal stenosis. However my granddad and my pet dog Nina that I had since the day I was born died only a few months later after I moved out, 2 weeks apart both of cancer. But that was almost 8 years ago.
I own the store since March 4th, 2017! Thanks to everybody who has helped me achieve this!

Nounou, don't be difficult Sjappie. The fact that your lanquage is missing, has nothing to do with the fact that the button is working how it should :p . Maybe you should contact costumer service and let them know you need an extra language, you never know what will happen. They may even be able to fix some stuff along the way ;).

Hello guys! I am very close to completing my store items collection. I only have a few items left on my wishlist and I can't afford them. If someone would be happy to gift any of them to me - I would be really appreciated! Here's the link: http://store.thesims3.com/myWishlist.html?persona=Diamondkool

    Thank you!

I'm having no problem with making purchases for myself. And any gifts that I've sent people have gone through with no glitches, and the ones I've received the past few days seem to be fine; no double messages, and as far as I know nothing has gone missing. Although I'd never know unless someone called me out on not saying thank you. BTW, I always say thank you, so if anyone has sent a gift and I haven't, let me know.

Missed Olympian Physique yesterday. Had decided to save the points, then found out that I was gifted the casino. But not a big deal. There aren't any great pieces in it anyway.

Ok, was saying everything was fine. Went over to store to check something on purchase history and couldn't get it to load, so I tried signing out to see if it would help.... can't sign back in. *sigh* Gonna close browser and come back. See what happens.

@JoeJude16 Try clearing your Cache, after fighting with my login for a day, that's what fixed it

You don't like the Olympian Physique set? How :open_mouth: !? It has Greek vases and stuff! How awesome are those!
Sorry, ancient history fanatic over here ;).

Thanks you @Tamaek for the Pajamas!

Was able to login with other browser. @Xanithina, I agree. Will check cache a little later. Only got a little sleep last night, so feeling grumpy and don't want to deal with it now.

Anyway, in the past couple days picked up Skylight Studio (can't wait to play with the skylight pieces,) was gifted the Casino for my build contest (which I'll start this weekend,) and got Hacienda Luxury for 5 SP today. It was a fun run. And a couple other odds and ends.

@Jahnna it's interesting finding someone who has shared experiences such as that. I'm so glad your grandmother is still doing great at 80! My grandfather was 73 and had only had a few heart issues starting at 71 until that's what took him. I believe being raised by grandparents gives you a different view of the world, and it's a view I'm glad I have now that I'm 20 and on my own.
    Have a great, blessed day!

We seem to have a lot in common. My granddad also died around the age of 72 years old and I'm 22 myself. I'm very grateful to have been raised by my grandparents as they've always been very open and welcoming to anybody, no matter the skin colour or origin. Also my parents were very young, my mother just turned 18 before I was born and my dad was 22. And it took them both many many years to become good parents and better people overall. So I'm especially grateful to have been raised by my grandparents.

hi, i'm kinda new to the sims forums, but not the game, can anyone tell me what this thread is all about, and how it works?

The information is detailed quite nicely on the first page of this thread. Basically you make a post that lists the top five of your wishlist and then others gift you stuff off of your wishlist and help you own the things from the store that you want to own or own the whole store if that is your goal. And if you can and are willing you can gift others as well. We all help each other out here. Also be sure to check out The Daily Deal (DD) Rotation and Sales Help thread. It has a lot of great information, tools and people that can help you with the Daily Deal cascades and getting the most out of your simpoints. It is a bit of reading but ultimately it is completely worth the few minutes it takes to sift through the information and there are a lot of great people who are more than happy to help out our fellow simmers. ^_^ Just remember that when organizing your wishlist try not to include both individual items and the set they come in, it causes gifters to waste simpoints. If you want a whole set the best approach is to list each item from the set and then let us try to help you whittle the price down so you can grab it when it comes up on the DD rotation or on Sale (assuming they fix the sales page). Unless the set doesn't apply the Complete Your Set bonus, then feel free to add the whole set. Venues tend to be that way. Welcome to the directory. I hope you decide to stay and that you like it here.
As of 12-18-16 I joined the Own The Store Club! Now I get to pay it forward! Thanks to everyone who helped me get here. You guys are amazing. ^_^ Love to you all!! <3

Looking to make the most of your Simpoints and maybe make some great friends along the way?

Check out the DD Rotation Thread for tips, tricks, tools and the whole DD rotation schedule.

@SjappielovePaul I thought, from the word Sjappie that you might be Dutch, but then I thought I was wrong, because didn't know what Frysk was. Then I got curious, and looked it up. I guess I wasn't to far from the mark in the first place

Haha yes I am Dutch indeed ;) but also very proud Fries! Haha!

So are you Dutch too? If so there's really a lot of Dutch people around here :o

@SjappielovePaul, it's okay, the jinx didn't last long. Clearing my cache etc did nothing at first, but a few hours later I was able to sign back in with Chrome, which is my preferred browser. Still no MMAO, but everything else works.

I missed the Frisian Facebook part? How cool! But don't forget Wikipedia (or should I call it Wikipedy?) ;). Fryslan boppe! Hahahahaha
I'm also Dutch @Xanthina but no Fries... Or does having grandparents from Fryslan count?

Welcome @pole2323 ! Don't forget to ad a link to your wishlist so everybody can find you, especially when your username on the store site differs from the forums. Don't hesitate to ask questions! Oh and we talk about a lot of other stuff here too ;).

@pole2323, because you are a New Member on the Forum, you can't post any links yet. I found a Pole2323 on the store; is that you? If so, make sure to list this in your signature until you can post the link.

@SjappielovePaul and @Hoplass I am American, not Dutch(Well, a LONG ways back in ancestry). It's a country that I love, however, and I am trying to learn the language. Ik spreek niet goed Nederlands. I used to have people I would practice with, but we have drifted apart.

My husband speaks German, and we playfully harass each other about it.

@pole2323, if that is your wishlist, you can get the Sizzle Baby Pro Deep Fryer and Frost-Bite Pro Ice Cream Machine for only 71 SP!

If you haven't already, head on over to CASCADES & DAILY DEALS- GETTING THE BEST BANG FOR YOUR SP and check out the Fabulous Fiesta/ April 2012 Compilation cascade.

Basically, to get the most stuff for the least SimPoints you want to be active on this thread and two others: the cascade thread I just mentioned and DAILY DEAL (DD) ROTATION AND SALES HELP - CONTINUATION OF SEPTEMBER LIST.

It's a lot to digest, but well worth the work, and the people on all three threads are incredibly helpful.

EDIT: I looked at your list some more. Check out the Animals Abound cascade as well. It's one of the most profitable cascades and an excellent introduction to the process. It's the first cascade explained in the cascade thread.

Haha yeah, that is a pretty funny combo, a "German" American and a "Dutch" American. But to be honest, I think things have really changed now that history is really history. Most of the young people I know love Germany :) it's a bit like brotherlove between the Netherlands and Germany I like to think. Sometimes we don't agree, but we're always friends in the end.

We have a couple of Dutch here on the forum, Martje, MariTomKaulitz and I think there's more but my mind is a little foggy if you know what I mean haha ;)

And about learning dutch, oefening baart kunst :) (practising will make for good results) I'm still here if you ever have grammatical questions haha!

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great week!

Yesterday, I got a call to tell me that I will have an internship for the whole month of November. I will be really busy (9am-6pm every day) but I'm really excited about that! (and also a little nervous because it's my first internship)
