The disappearance of Graham's Pet Swap after installing certain EPs is a fine example.
Well, if you need specific lots like these, says so, and I'll upload a copy to the exchange... If you don't own the required EP, the game won't let you install it, but if you do, you'll be able to...

The store is completely down at the moment. It won't even pretend to try to load. Hopefully they're fixing the latest snafus.
Well, right now, it's extremely slow, but it loads for me.

@Lexers615, I do have Pets and have no problem downloading the lot from the store, it just didn't always show up in the bin of public lots for placement. This was a known problem for a while. Maybe at some point they resolved it, but because I had a working solution I'd never noticed. But the last time I had installed/played Into the Future a few months back I still had the problem. It's part of the reason I am reinstalling the worlds and EPs in order of release, so that I'm set from before the bug kicked in. If it's still there.
Anyone? My current CYS for Everyday - Hot Summer Days is 505. The estimated CYS for the DD is 504. If I don't get the Download button, what will happen? Will it just be a really low price?
@JoeJude16 - Since I have owned the store for a long time, I am going by memory. If you don't get the Download button, your price should be very low. The estimated CYS does not account for the rounding that is done in the calculation of the CYS by the store website.
However, you are not looking at the green deal for Everyday - Hot Summer Days. The 504 CYS for the download button is deal 876, the red deal. The green deal is deal 367 for 338 sp or an estimated CYS of 563. Since your CYS is 505, you should get the green download button on November 4th.
Here is the list for the current deal and the deals for the next 24 hours.

So glad to have found this thread! I was wondering what was up with MMAO. I see that some people report it's now working for them, but it's still not working for me. Anyone else?
And thank you, Me1620, for the list of current deals! Now I don't have to stay glued to the web site while I track them. But I'm wondering how you can "predict" this.
@JovialJoy welcome to the DD thread and the forums. It's not so much predicting as knowing how things work. The DD thread is on constant repeat so we know what's coming, for how long and at what price. With the first rotation of the DD we all wrote down the info on each item and with @Me1620 s great brain and a lot of work plugging in all the info into spreadsheets we have a "prediction" tool for what's going on.
As of April 24th 2015 I joined the own the store club. Thank you to those who helped in my journey. DD spreadsheet
So do you know if Grandpa's Grove is ever on there? I've never seen it.
@JovialJoy grandpa's grove is on the DD multiple times. It is at numbers 495 (655 points) 640 (475 points) and 674 (741 points).
Edit: to find out which venues are on / not on the list click the venue/ PC tab in the DD spreadsheet.
Is it too involved to ask how you guys discovered the DD was on a rotation and not spontaneously generated?
Probably one person watching and going I've seen that before, at that price, (originally it was a daily deal, one item for 24 hours) *keeps watching* seen that too, points it out on the forums and other people say they've noticed that too. Let's try and keep track of that, DD thread born.
Honestly I have no idea, above is just a theory.
As for the current DD list we know it's not going to change to a new list because they've moved onto the sims 4 and one of the sim gurus told us this is the last list and will keep going for as long as they want it to.

I don't recall exactly when we first noticed a list repeating, or rotating as we say. It would have been a case of someone noticing (many years ago) that a sequence of deals had been seen before ... and that the sequence was continuing ... OMG the list is being repeated! Over the months that following we became a very adept community of deal stalkers - spotting trends, working out the deal rules, calculating the best discounts and, most of all, helping each other out on their Sims Store journey.
City Life does look interesting and almost makes me want to get TS4. However, I don't want to start investing so much money in another Sims game. I spent so much money on Sims 3 and I am still finding new ways to enjoy it. I might consider buying TS4 when the entire collection sells for 75% off
That is much like how I feel. There is so much I haven't done in TS3 yet, it seems foolish to try another version. Especially so when, from what I've seen, it looks so limited in the areas of gameplay that I particularly enjoy. But that said, like the last (disappointing) SimCity a 75% discount might convince me to give it a go.
And, I'm thinking that the influx of new Simmers on this very thread is an indication of how much love there is for TS3 ... still.

Over the years, our fellow DD stalkers have proven to be awesomely imaginative and creative builders and I would love to see what our newest recruits (or our 'old' friends for that matter) come up with.

Ok try again. Each time I would click off this page into another tab it was deleting everything I had typed.
Hi all, hope everyone is happy, healthy and safe.
Welcome to all our new friends. May good deals and points from ads be with you and everyone else.
@Jamshid666 congrats on owning the store, welcome to the club.
A big thank you to @simgeek79 and @Hoplass for helping post the deals while I wasn't here.
@Me1620 it would seem the worlds bundle (monte vista, hidden springs and the chocolate fountain) you mention earlier is still available in some countries. It cost the same amount to buy the two worlds together as it does to buy one by itself $20 aud. https://www.origin.com/aus/en-us/store/the-sims/the-sims-3/addon/the-sims-3-worlds-bundle
It's hard to believe we've had this DD list for two years. Happy belated birthday DD list.

It didn't occur to me to look at the beginning of this thread. I guess that's because I came here for a reason entirely unrelated to the DD, found my answer, and only briefly glanced at the comments relevant to this thread's true purpose. But thank you for referring me to the "DD spreadsheet!" After I employed my handy-dandy deduciary skills, I realized this was probably something posted at the beginning of the thread. Sure enough...
Then I got sucked into hours of cataloging what I should buy and in what order I should buy it so as to get the biggest discount!
There is so much I haven't done in TS3 yet, it seems foolish to try another version. Especially so when, from what I've seen, it looks so limited in the areas of gameplay that I particularly enjoy.

Lifelong Sims fan here! (Though my interest has waxed and waned.) Got the first game from CostCo when I was 16 years old. Eagerly awaited The Sims 2 and wasn't disappointed! But I grew out of it, stopped playing it altogether, and got rid of the game and its' EP's. So when The Sims 3 initially came out, it wasn't even a blip on my radar. Then ... a friend gave me a copy she didn't want. HOOKED! I loved it even more than the former versions. However, it's such a time-sucker for me and I just didn't have the time. So I stopped playing it for a while. And when I looked at the trailers for The Sims 4, read reviews, and tried out the CAS demo--I just wasn't itching to buy it. As you said, it looked limited in the aspects that I really love about its' predecessor. Realizing that only made me long to play The Sims 3 again. Yes, I'm still feelin' the love here!
Thank you, angeljess26 and ajaxpost, for answering my questions!
Wow, lots of new faces, though apparently some are actually old. Either way, cool to hear some fresh voices.
I still can't get into MMAO, but otherwise the store is behaving. Even getting a steady flow of ads. Slow, but steady.
Tomorrow I get to start buying stuff again after waiting through the overlap of the reset. I own everything that's come up since then. Although buying is a misnomer since I've got a lot of green Dowload buttons coming up, which is pretty plum cool.
@ajaxpost, I don't have the casino, but can you suggest any other building contests?

Hi @JoeJude16, yep, one of the great things about the DD thread is how it sort of goes through 'generations' where there'll be an influx of new deal stalkers just as 'older' members, having achieved Ownership of The Store, move on but there is always a small group of experienced stalkers who stay on to provide continuity and make sure the old wisdom is passed on. And, there are a good few others, like myself, who pop in every now and then because we have such fond memories of this wonderful place and love to see new Simmers enjoying the thrill of deal stalking.
And, I have to congratulate you on so quickly getting to grips with all the tools for bargain hunting and contributing to the community. BTW This MMAO problem is most odd, apart from a brief period a few days ago I've had no problem using it, or any other Store page?!?!?
As for my own build competition, I don't think you would need to own the casino per se, though it does have a lot of useful content. There are a good few other related items for a gambling and drinking den in the Store outside of that particular venue.
I'm not sure how many other building contests are actually running at the moment, doesn't seem to be many at all, but keep an eye on the Gifting forum as they do pop up quite frequently. And if you're just after challenges, inspiration, or a place to share your builds, without necessariliut received a Simpoints reward, the Creative / Builders forum still has plenty of Sims 3 activity (including the long-running Build-and-Share thread) .
I'm still largely locked out of the store, but I AM in Australia, so it's likely I'm dealing with a different server than most. Good to hear that it's come back for some people, though!
I'm a fairly recent DD hunter, and while I've been farming store points for a year or so I didn't realise about multiple tabs or cascades until a couple of months ago! Getting pretty close to owning the store; mostly just the Worlds left.
There is so much I haven't done in TS3 yet, it seems foolish to try another version. Especially so when, from what I've seen, it looks so limited in the areas of gameplay that I particularly enjoy.

Hey @JovialJoy, interesting to read the history of another "lifelong Simmer". It's a long time ago but I remember being hooked on Sims 1, it was just so revolutionary, having that level of intimate control of a character in such a free and unconstrained environment.
For some reason, I don't remember too much about Sims 2, I did play for quite a while, bought a couple of EPs and downloaded a load of CC but I think the loading screens and my own lack of imagination meant I don't have the same love for it as so many other Simmers.
Nearly had the same thing happen when I eventually bought The Sims 3 (in a big discount sale of course!) which I loved from the outset but after a year or so was starting to get bored by always playing the same type of story ... and then I discovered the Forums! I found the huge variety of story challenges, different ways of using The Sims for other creative outlets (like blogging, Youtube, etc.), the thrill of the Daily Deal, and, by becoming actively involved in the community, I was so inspired to try out new gameplay ideas, try my hand at building and well, and here we are, six years later and I fully expect to be playing it for years to come!
@ajaxpost, thanks for pointing me to some other outlets to share my building, which I still do on and off, not regularly. I used to build more when I was on a PC, but my Mac tends to crash in the middle of builds, and leaving the lot in order to save the game gets tedious, so I don't do as much right now. But I definitely think just being able to share my builds is a bigger deal than winning a prize. Although prizes don't suck. And I am getting some thoughts for your dive bar, so you may see me over there. I'll have to explore Late Night, which I've barely touched, but it'll also motivate me to do that.
I am in the process of building a PC just to run the Sims. The plan is to get it tweaked to run it as smoothly as possible. Then I will back up the entire system. At some point in the future, if an update messes me up, I'll just roll it back to it's pristine state and turn off system updates. Based on an EA support rep's recommendation I am building it on Win 7. He says they have they fewest complaints with that system. Mainly this is because I expect to be playing this for years to come and know that at some point Windows will make it go sideways.
I own all the EPs, SPs and soon all the worlds. But I tend to play the same ones, so have barely explored any of them. There is so much gameplay left ahead of me.

Especially so when, from what I've seen, it looks so limited in the areas of gameplay that I particularly enjoy. But that said, like the last (disappointing) SimCity a 75% discount might convince me to give it a go.
And, I'm thinking that the influx of new Simmers on this very thread is an indication of how much love there is for TS3 ... still.
Thank you!
Over the years, our fellow DD stalkers have proven to be awesomely imaginative and creative builders and I would love to see what our newest recruits (or our 'old' friends for that matter) come up with.

I own the store as of 1+7/17/17

I'm a fairly recent DD hunter, and while I've been farming store points for a year or so I didn't realise about multiple tabs or cascades until a couple of months ago! Getting pretty close to owning the store; mostly just the Worlds left.

I own the store as of 1+7/17/17
