How does Simport work.

I mean I get the jest of it but I have never actually used it. I know one needs friends in order to actually use it and at the time I bought the EP my desktop no longer connected to the internet so I never bothered to even think about it. Well now my daughter is asking me to find friends for so she can play. Before you ask, she plays on my account and don't each have copies of the games. Do both players need to be in game in order for it to work? Does one need to be constantly playing the game because her free time is limited. I am sure I have more questions but this flu just as me way too drained to really think right now.

Both players do not have to be online at the same time but it can help smooth the process. Simport is glitchy and takes patience to get to work correctly. Thank you!!!! I LOVE how he out the whole spam thing in there!!! That is one reason as to why I stopped adding friend t things long before Simport came around!!! LOL
