We do not endorse, encourage or otherwise recommend players use emulators or other 3rd party programs to play The Sims FreePlay on unsupported devices (such as Laptops/PCs/Macs).
The Sims FreePlay is not designed for such devices or with external program/application use, and thus if there are any problems arising from such use, we will not be able to offer technical or in-game support.
Thanks for your understanding.

Thanks for the warning.
But please try to understand us. Us as PC audience.
We couldn't care less about phones bloatware. We use our phones as phones, to talk and to chatty with other people, we're not using them as a toddler pacifier nor as a substitution to superior hardware when it comes to gaming.
And we, PC customers, are not guilty when someone who's not us and who obviously doesn't care about us on PC decided that a product goes on phones and not on PC.
If Bethesda could port Fallout Shelter on PC (although they shouldn't, it also works on emulators), how about instead of notices about possible bugs we get a promise there will be a proper PC port from EA?
We develop The Sims FreePlay for mobile devices, exclusively. It's not really whether or not it would be "easy" to port to PC, it's simply that we only design TSFP for mobile use, not PC and we will continue to do that. We will continue to design and optimize the game for mobile devices only and continue to bring The Sims experience to mobile devices.
I'm sorry if this isn't the news you were hoping for but I hope I've helped clarify the situation.

Funnily enough, I actually addressed this exact topic in another thread in this sub-forum: (http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/899824/what-is-sims-free-play)
