Hello! I've managed to finally get my thoughts properly in order and figure out what I want to do next for the Chrysanthemum Tango, so here's the next chapter:
What was there to be said about dreams? What about nightmares? Almost anything, really, but this chapter tells just a few things about some specific dreams, nightmares, and a morbid yet reassuring eternity.
As you can see, I should probably stop writing these chapter teaser-things when I'm about to go to sleep. But anyway, I hope you enjoy!
My Sims stories: The Fey of Life - fairytales in life are few and far between (Forum thread HERE) The Chrysanthemum Tango - a story about life, death, magic, and how to be a good landlady (Forum thread HERE) Forget-Me-Not - some things just refuse to stay buried; an Ambrosia Challenge story (Forum thread HERE)
I have another chapter up for From Riverview with Love - 1.7 History Lesson Gage learns more about Simterra and the SimNatives from the Cherry Moon Collective.
I have another I&S post up... Kass contemplating her writing skills. Lucky Palms, Ep. 3, Haven. Another beautiful custom lot and some of my own personal experiences have inspired this chapter.
If I had to give a rough estimate for how many chapters are left,
Probably about six to eight chapters left? (depending on what I do for the finale, it may have to be ten)
And do you estimate your current pace of a chapter or two a day?
i'm glad i'm not red those questions can be hard to answer.
Well, when you consider that, "I don't know," and "It depends on energy/creativity/inspiration/RL/and a million other things..." are also perfectly acceptable answers, then it becomes pretty easy to answer!
I'd say that'd be about right. Give or take the occasional skip day (where I don't post a chapter), Chronicles just might be done in about a week and a half.

Oh. My. Gosh. So epic. I can't even imagine what your experience has been like writing this... and I wonder how you feel as you are approaching the end... and how you'll feel when you click "Publish" on your final chapter!

Truth be told, I don't know how to put my emotions into words. A whole mess of them is what I'm feeling about all of it.
As for publishing the final chapter? I'll only know for sure when I finally do so.

I'm sure... what an incredible life-time experience to be the creator of this story. There are so many emotions within it!
One of my all-time favorite scenes, and probably a scene that will stay with me for life, is when all h-e-double-l is breaking out with that creep and her assistants, and up in the secret room, the fam is playing paddy-cake with Sagebear! Man! I love that forever and in thousands of ways. Yeah, everything good can exist while the world is collapsing...
This work is the type of thing that, as a reader, I want to write literary analysis and interpretation on... so many layers and layers of meaning and significance and so many ways of looking at it and understanding it.
