I love the reflections on the pool water.

    Here's my contribution:

There's one of the options to recolour the pool water too, where the surface gets really twinkly! Sadly it doesn't look as nice in screenshots as it does in the game, but it's really pretty.

Dang I need to get a better computer I forget how good the graphics can be!
  • simstr0ngsimstr0ng Posts: 679 Member
@rodneyclint - true - I got a better computer recently and the difference is very noticeable - especially for water.

The volumetric sunray too are fabulous

The funny thing is that my pc goes to its knees if I apply the same effects on skyrim. I don't know how they managed to optimize the graphic so much.

Even for an old game, I don't think TS4 and Skyrim is in the same league, especially with the graphic overhaul that is coming for Skyrim.

Yes! This is the pool setting I was talking about, it looks really sparkly and glittery in-game!

I'll wait and see with the official Bethesda improvements, because in the original one these effects are obtained by injection so probably the problem lies in the enb.

Very welcome. I enjoyed seeing it.
What is that? Is it the reflection of the sun?
I couldn't tell what else that was in the new screenshot!

I really wish they'd patch in moon phases, at least. It doesn't have to be a pre seasons patch to do it... but I never noticed that. even when i build I really look at how the natural light enters the room, or yard, to determine where I'm going to plot the landscape. and when i was building a pool the other week the moon /sun didn't reflect on the water... and my settings are on ultra.

Going to load up the game now to actually look.

I'm actually re-downloading The Sims 4 "Right Now" and you gave me something more to look forward to when I am back in the game....I never noticed moon or sun reflections before so I can't wait to check that out

I have never had a pool in my game yet (I like to live poor in my sims game), but I want to have one now just to see how beautiful it is.
Could it possibly get uglier? I used to be a highly respected watcher, and now I'm a wounded dwarf with the mystical strength of a doily. I just wish I could sleep. - Rupert Giles

@DegrassiGen - I hope there is a moon rise soon for you.

@MasonGamer - Moon phases would be a great idea. I also appreciate the way shadows and light through windows is captured.

@thelawtman - I wonder if the moon can be seen on other bodies of water - a pond in the park for example.
