Was there anything else fixed in the latest patch?

As title suggests! Does anyone know?!

This was basically an emergency patch to fix three game breaking issues.

Hopefully the stuff pack patch will fix more pressing ones.

I don't think we were given a date on that one though.

Graham said the kids bedroom stuff comes out in June. The last week of June is the week after this one aka next week so the announcement should be made this week and a patch released.

The SP should be releasing the last week of June.

Just so I m not confusing anyone Sunday starts a new week here in the US and today is Sunday.

Well, that's common sense but there as still not been an announcement or anything so stating it as a fact just bothers me a bit.

So many things can happen. So unless there is an official announcement (and not a guru suggesting), I believe it when I see it.

so what will be in the next patch??

Hopefully bug fixes. Right now that's all I could ever want from a patch. Dine Out has many many bugs and issues that need resolving and hopefully booths can work properly after the next patch.

There's also been a lot of June 2nd bugs that haven't been fixed. The doctor career is basically unplayable now and the routing issues are getting annoyingly out of hand.

I know, I tried the doctor career and surprise surprise here comes the mother of sim-reseting.

Unfortunately, I can't start a new topic so this one's probably the most recent and relevant.
Due to the recent ongoing sale, I'm considering purchasing the Sims 4 and an expansion pack or so. From what the game makes it out to be, I assume it's less GPU resource intensive than the Sims 3 (comparing launches). I can manage more CPU, but I'm restricted to a professional graphics card. What I'm really looking for is how well updates have served the game both in terms of resources and bugs. If there is anything that I should know, its that these things tend to decrease linearly, but how much since launch? Thanks!

Edit: And now all the sudden that I've posted, the forum remembers my history so I can post again.

Glad I'm not the only one, my sim's work day is never good because she keeps having to show the patient back to their bed and it wastes so much time

@tuityfruity12aj For a temporary (yet annoying) fix is immediately after your sim does the action that resets them, pause the game. During pause, click on the patient to escort them back to the bed and then continue playing. That way you don't waste minutes clicking on the patient and clicking to show them back to their bed. It saves like around 5-10 sim minutes, but whatever, every minute counts lol.

It really depends on your overall computer. My daughter play on my husbands old business computer and if you are ok with not playing on ultra with everything, I think it should be fine. It might be best if you posted your specs in the tech section though.

As for bug fixes .. oh well .. there's lots getting fixed .. and lots getting broken. There's at least 1 patch a month so compared to Sims 3, there's a lot of updates. I also feel the fix more issues that people actually have compared to Sims 3.

There's a compiled list of bugs in the bug/issues forum. You can check that out if you want to see what kind of bugs this game has.

Several things were broken in the last patch. My stove that came with cool kitchen breaks literally faster than I can fix or replace it. The CC fridge is also not working. They can't seem to open the door.

Yea, well that's not the best sign; they're rushing content. My computer is able to play it, but I guess program quality seems to be slowly slipping again. Best avoid Origin for now and wait for a bigger sale. :|

Yeah, and I don't think it did anything, my Sims randomly still wig out.

Run the repair game option, log out of Origin then restart your computer, log back in to Origin and load the game. Logging out of Origin and restarting your pc gives the game a fresh start. There have been instances where I have had to do this several times before the game resets. But it does usually take care of the minor glitches.

These kind of issues will probably take longer then just 3 or 4 weeks to fix as they need to be duplicated first, then the cause needs to be found and a fix implemented and tested.

I would not hold my breath for that.
