@Pebblycat yay are you banning pink to? haha
You dont need to upload the shell and only need to upload any parts if you want feedback
I love how different everyones shapes are these are going to be some really interesting houses
For everyone I wont be doing much feedback on shells because most of you have done them perfectly, as long as people experiemented and didn't do plain square shells.
So sorry I missed your post on the thread and this feedback being a bit slow.
Ok (gets comfortable in my chair) I will start with the landscaping and exterior.
Very creative with the water surrounding the lot with the decoration and lights very nice, even adding some dancing fountains would have looked great with this.
To be the front looks good but the area to the right of the path that doesn't have the hedge looks unfinished I would of made it the same as the left because everything else looks very symmetrical out the front except this.
Also I added a slight bit of decoration in front of the water because one thing I always try to do is make the gallery picture as appealing as possibly and all they see if the front.
Good job moving those hedges so they dont stick into the wall its a common fault with those when they are next to anything.
The build is very clean cut which I like but in some areas being to clean cut can look plain or flat
The plain concrete flooring on the patio looks a bit flat and there is a perfect one with some lines that would suit the exterior wall coverings you used
Its the Glamourtuff Stained Concrete, I know its tough to see the difference in this bad pic I took but in game it looks so much better.
Also I kinda felt the bin shouldnt be right at the front door maybe tucked away somewhere else would of been better.
Around the back, I loveeeeeee the pool decoration it looks amazing and so suited to the house. Very cute little patio but as you can see with the chairs my sim lost his legs, though he didn't seem to care much lol.
Also where you put the green wall looks a little bare, and some of the garden doesnt quite look natural as there is no change in the color green and straight lines, I can see your trying to keep every clean cut but here is just some ideas to fill a bit
The topiary plants would look great as they would compliment the lollipop trees. Also filling that little side part with some greenery and a wall decoration
I love the creative roofing it sets this build apart and makes it unique which I love seeing. The biggest problem I found with the exterior is not enough lights. The night view is extremely dark in some areas and even putting lights around the pool at the back would of really made it look spectacular. The side of the house had no lights at all, so dont forget the night view and the lights double up as some great decoration for your exterior.
With the patio, I would of built all the way around it with walls and then put the windows in that way you can also put trim on the top around the lattice roofing and it will hide the seems (I am not adding pictures as its a bit of a job to rebuild it). So make it a closed room first.
Now to the interior.
Love the water feature inside as you enter and great wall decoration. Great step down lounge and I love all the creative decoration through out.
Im not sure about having a shelf over a window in the kitchen as it doesn;t seem quite suitable place.
Love the use of green bushes through out goes well with the overall theme and breaks up all that white
In the study the ottoman blocks on the wall are creative but they dont look clean match just moving them so they arent touching would of looked cleaner
Love all the creative touches through out you definitely dont have a problem with creativity hehe
Ok upstairs while they look ok the bunk beds there is no point to them as both beds are unusable. You are missing clothes dresser which is a necessity and we look for them in all entries.
The toilet paper in the bathroom is way to high try putting them down lower closer and just about the toilet seat height.
The wicker seat in the master bedroom is poking into the wall.
Love the upstairs patio again great decoration, I feel you could of added something else up there for sims maybe some seating or something.
Overall wonderful job love your creativity and your out of the box thinking. Make sure though that thinks look more natural as in possibly when put together and make sure when being creative with usable items that they can still be used.

Ok my theme is fairytale, I have been working on a very large build similar to this and decided to do a small version for this practice challenge. Though my large version is no where near finished I will put a sneak preview pic up at the end of this.
So here is my exterior, 3 floors with several balcony patios on each level. It has 26 pieces of roofing and I may have over decorated a little lol.
Of course a fairytale theme has to have an amazing night view
I have built balcony patios on every floor with different activites on each or seating. I have also decorated the bottom one with little flower beds
There was a lot of using the ALT button to move things into the right place, I got creative with the wall coverings using several different types of similar coverings to create different patterns on the walls. There is 2 different types of windows and I used friezes on the roof level and trims all around.
If anyone wants a close up picture of any part of it let me know and I will add it.
Wow @Cbear13 those are both absolutely amazing!! I am definitely changing my house for this challenge now that I have a better idea of the exterior requirements. My other shell would absolutely not work haha
Also @Cbear13 thanks for the feedback on my practice 3! I really liked how you decorated around the green portion of the exterior part that didn't have any windows.
Your part 2 for the challenge looks so very nice! @Cbear13 It looks very pretty! The balconies looks very nice! Very nice wall patterning and the greenery looks very nice on the exterior. The roofing looks very great! Very nice sitting areas on the balconies.
Your fairytale WIP is looking so very, very nice! Very nice design and layout of the build! The stairs and the different levels look so very great! It is such a very nice fairytale build!
Thanks guys its going to take me ages to finish dont get much time to build lately. Though a good practice challenge idea is get you all to judge it when its done see how many mistakes ive made lol
Wow great shells everyone! So stinkin creative! And, you know I love your HUGE Fairytale build already @Cbear13 it looks more amazing every time I see it!
Your build looks so very, very nice! @lisa17ann Very nice roofing! The exterior design of the building looks very great! The textures of the exterior go well together. The planter and flower box windows look very nice. The natural pool water features on top of the tower areas looks very great! The wraparound porch looks great! The green diamonds floor patterning and flowers in the area where the top of the steps is looks very nice! Very nice upper balcony! Sims will enjoy doing yoga there. The spandrels look nice . The banner shield is a nice touch on the exterior. The bonsai plants on the side edges of the porch and the sculptures on the porch look very nice.
The build looks very great!

@Cbear13 Lol, am I banning pink? I don't think my vision for the shell includes much of it, so I would say no for now
I've also started challenge 1 and will get round to posting that too at some point.
