Hi when you post the pictures of your Legacy Challenge do you have to write a story or can you just describe what's going on and a short description.
@iDannieSimmer hey you can do anything you want with your pictures! There are no rules. However, if you'd like a few explanations and opinions you might want to check out this Guide To SimLit. Just always remember, there are no rules and you can do anything that you like!
I am making a Legacy Story! It is currently updating with a Prologue and Chapter 1. I have already written Chapter 2 and 3 and have then queued to post tomorrow and Tuesday. You can find it in my tumblr: Sims4Diaries
I've decided to give this challenge a whirl, I started with the extreme start and almost a sim week in and my founder now has $800. Slowly working on her job as entertainer and making money.
Question, does it matter if the founder or heirs marry a Goth or Landgrabb?

I think you can as long as you don't keep the money they bring but I'm not sure.
Opps! My founder and husband spend a lot of time at the library and fun to shower and realized she pregnant! They currently live in a tent. Time to hustle.
Can you combine the Legacy Challenge with another Challenge, I was thinking of doing a Runaway Teen Challenge and then when she becomes a young adult start the Legacy Challenge part of it.
Hello all. I haven't visited this thread since I completed my legacy forever ago. I had a question and figured this thread was the best place to ask... is there a legacy challenge written that has generational goals?
I started a Sims4 legacy challenge and when I'm done I kinda want to start doing a Sims3 one. I have an LP for my Sims4 Legacy on my YT Channel! If you guys would like to check it out feel free! Part1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMGKc0qIX_I
I've decided to try the original legacy challenge, though I'm doing a backstory that will probably be a few chapters to introduce the characters before starting the challenge. Wanted something with rules but able to be lenient and more story driven. Going to be keeping score as well but won't be focusing on that in the within the story (maybe a little) but once my blog is up and running have a tab that's a score tracker.
So excited for the Mills to take on this task! And see how far I make it

@Rainydayz179 In case you didn't get an answer to your question: I'm sure there are lots of legacies with different objectives for every generation. I think this one looks like something you could be interested in: Differences in The Family Tree

I ended up getting some responses in the Writer's Lounge but thank you. I decided to make my own rules and gave up on the generational goals idea. It felt too restrictive. Although my rules were 4 notebook pages before I typed them out so I might be restricting myself anyway!

I did use some of the rules from the Ambrosia Challenge (of which my legacy is a spinoff) and the Whims and Sims challenge. I've done the room challenge before and it was a lot of fun. I'll check out the others. Thanks for the links!
Started my first legacy! (Not keeping points, the challenge is mostly for the sake of getting me to commit to a household for awhile). Find it at "warwicklegacy" dot blogspot dot com !
I just started the Knightley Legacy.. mostly as way to take a break away from my main save and play with aging on for once. I am keeping score, and following the original rules.. I'm just doing it for fun though.. and writing a story as I go a long based on the events.. will probably share it as I develop it, right now it's a rough draft of screenies and major events.
I have an interesting idea for the graveyard, a dark story involving the family cowplant (and why the youngest is heir)... the hierarchy can add some cruelness as generations pass. Oh, and now there is the "Knightley Arch" where every heir and wife is to be wed under like the Founder.
Lets make The Sims 4 great again!

Thanks. She just got married and is now pregnant. He/She/They was conceived in a bush. lol Their date where they became boyfriend/girlfriend was at a restaurant. They had a gold level date. It was fun! His name is Fabio and is a player-made Sim. Sorry I don't remember who made him. I did not save him to my library.
I removed two pictures. They were restaurant spoilers.

And then, there are well-known challenges like the Disney princess legacy challenge and BuildNewcrest legacy challenge that also have specific generational goals
