I'm a car guy, too. My dad loves El Caminos, and I'm a Camaro guy.
I either missed the part where it was about Rosalie from Twilight or I never really thought about it. That's really cool, though. Some parts of the first movie were shot very close to me. (Parts of it were shot in my town) That was quite a while ago though, just thought it was something you may find interesting if you like Twilight.
As for the car, Camaros are lovely as well (I like the 1964 Camaro) (though my favorites are El Caminos and Novas). I'm not sure if you knew this or not, but I'm not a guy. The way it was worded sounded, at least to me, like this was what you thought, so I just thought I'd say. (You can't really tell on forums though, so don't worry about it!)

I'm not a Twilight fan, but my wife loves it, so I have to like it by default. LOL Rosalie is my favorite character both for the beautiful actress playing her, and for her attitude and actions in the books/movies.

Thanks @lanlyn I came across those skis and thought I wouldn't use them but got them anyway. Still didn't think they'd work with my game. But now I see them on a Sim I think they'll make some very interesting additions to my fairy world. So it looks like they'll be going into the game after all. Now I just have to work out where I got them from.

Catastrophe has struck Sunset Valley. A tornado took out the Forsythe legacy home along with several other homes in the neighborhood. This included both Alexa and Raquel's homes. The Forsythe family has joined forces to salvage what they can. They will be moving to a new neighborhood in the near future.
(I can load a game, but no matter what I have tried, the subsequent saves will not load. I'm bummed and frustrated as it takes about 30 minutes to load that game and if I'm in the game too long, the game locks up. I'm hoping to use Porter to move them to another neighborhood. Any suggestions on a stable world would be greatly appreciated.)
Edited to add: I was able to successfully pack the families including the deadbeat dads of Raquel's child and future baby (as far as I'm concerned, the two guys' families died during the tornado and they were the only survivors).
I hope that Porter can handle a pregnant Sim.

I put a bookcase full of the family written books and the cemetery headstones into the family inventory. I hope the books will transport inside the bookcase. I'm sorry you're having problems.
I find all items of the family inventory and in the home itself tend to appear in the personal inventory of one of the sims of the household. It usually seems to be a pet or baby's inventory. You'll need to use Debug Enabler or Master Controller to get the stuff out of the personal inventory that shouldn't be in a personal inventory.
I was having similar problems with my games and that's why I ended up using Traveler mod from NRAAS to spread them out over several different worlds.
If you don't have the parents (or their ghosts) in your packed sims package the brothers/sisters won't be related to each other.
I've packed over 300 sims and their furniture and pets successfully. But having that many sims in a world leads to problems so I have been spreading them out over many different worlds and I have a sim (or group of sims) from my current world to travel to the other worlds so I can play in that world. The relationships are retained if you use NRAAS Traveler mod to move them to different worlds.

@texansky Make sure you don't have anything but packages in your mods folder. I accidentally stuck a .rar in there and it messed up my load time. Also, make sure you don't have anything that really belongs to Sims2. I accidentally put some rugs in that were sims 2 rugs and of course they didn't show up, but, my game lagged horribly and those were the last things I had put in. Removed, everything was better and that was when I checked them and they were for sims 2. The Nraas site has some great tips for helping your game play better here: http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Tips+For+Better+Game+Performance I love porter and have used it quite a bit, but, only moved about 30 people (3 families) with it.

@bekkasan I hope you find some good stuff there. A lot of it is a bit more different than I was expecting. But I really wanted the fawn horns and clothes and I think I found them. I downloaded them but will have a look at what is in the .rar file tomorrow. I'm too tired now. They are on page 3 or 4 of that link with the fawn skin.
I'll keep the updates on the parties simple. I took bunches of pictures, but will just share my favorites.
Bachelorette Party
When the party started, the girls had no trouble congregating outside in the entertainment lodge. Not everyone invited was able to stay, but most were there. One or two guests brought food. Bunter made another dish earlier in the day. Piers and Bunter went to a pub, but came home just before midnight. The party was still going strong then, and the ladies were glad to have two more guys to dance with.
The game outfitted Hera in the usual Bachelorette dress, but she wore her own silk stockings.
Caprice, as a fairy, loved the dancing and asked several girls to dance with her just for fun.
Hera asked Caprice to give a toast.
Then Hera was the first to get sprayed with nectar.
Stan the Dancer was ready to liven up the party.
Stan went down to the small nectar cellar to strut his stuff. Notice that one of the ladies, the mail carrier, is a Loner and the crowded room was bothering her.
Then Simon, another Dancer, arrived and a Dance-Off began.
Simon: To the Death, Stan! To the Death!
Caprice chose to hold her own private party in her house two or three times. She's the only fairy in Rinn Fada.
Three of Bunter's exes showed up. Laurie was one.
Ruth and Leona also were there. Clodagh had to work. And of course, Christine the vampire had moved to Midnight Hollow. Hera autonomously sketched one of the dancers. I think it was Simon. He'd already changed into weird swimwear.
In fact, Hera got quite chummy with the guy. All innocent though. They just seemed to hit it off. I guess.
The Loner went over to the house to drink by herself.
Two ladies passed out. Both were Bunter's exes. Leona was the first to drop.
One guest played darts in the game room.
Then Piers and Bunter came home. While Bunter was in the pool, one of the wilder ladies went skinny dipping. Bunter didn't take notice, but Piers enjoyed the sight.
Everyone seemed to like dancing outside to the little rock stereo. Laurie changed into her nightie. Ladies kept asking Piers to dance, but they left Bunter alone, though a couple were giving him looks.
Ruth talked to Laurie about something romantic and everyone got the same thought bubble. I looked that icon up and it has to do with being annoyed because you were asked to do something. Maybe Ruth was daring Laurie to kiss someone.
Laurie collapsed.
Caprice sprayed Bunter with nectar. He must have thought that was charming. You can see Ruth in the background working on the fixer upper car that Bunter bought to replace the one he'd sold to pay for the renovations.

Ruth was the last guest to leave. She asked Piers to slow dance with her. In fact, Ruth acted pretty aggressive with both Piers and Bunter during this party and the wedding. Ruth had been Bunter's longest affair. Six days. HA! Maybe she'd been expecting more.
The Bachelorette Party was a big success, and I'd have to say the ladies actually partied harder than the guys did at the Bachelor Party.
I'd love to post some pictures but I can't so I'll just basically summarise what I've been doing lately. I've been playing the same family since 2010 and I'm up to generation 10 now so it's pretty slow progress. One of my gen 8 sims Charlotte, unexpectedly died right before her daughter gave birth to twin girls (as soon as I loaded the game too!). Anyway, about a sim-week later I was taking Charlotte's husband and daughter to the graveyard to mourn. They had a great time catching up until just as they were standing right in front of the tombstone, Charlotte's husband Laurence expired!! I couldn't believe it. So my sim Emiko in just a few game days has lost both parents and had (unexpected) twins. Just when I had gotten rid of that pesky moodlet where they cry all the time.. It's back.
@cwaddell , I don't have Lucky Palms and I thought it was a world I wasn't much interested in, but your pictures made me want to get it!
@lanlyn , the Kraken is Bunter's brother?! I never expected that twist! I enjoyed their fight, and Bunter's phone was a funny contrast with their conversation and the way they look!
I love the bachelorette party. The two dancers having a dance-off to the death were my favourite part!
@thuggishsplicer , Molly got the wedding gift from Aidan, thank you! It's awesome to receive a wedding gift from your son who only exists in a parallel reality! I will share my Riverview save, but since I've been making it with only my own game in mind, some lots are only half-decorated, some buidings have empty upper floors, restrooms o community lots are just little rooms with one or two all-in-ones inside... I've only been careful about places where I know I'll want to take screeenshots.

Bunter: He told me you escaped.
Emad: ...I got the same nasty message about you.
Emad: So what now?
Bunter: Now I have duties at home. You'll just have to stay here.

I'm sorry you're having problems.
I find all items of the family inventory and in the home itself tend to appear in the personal inventory of one of the sims of the household. It usually seems to be a pet or baby's inventory. You'll need to use Debug Enabler or Master Controller to get the stuff out of the personal inventory that shouldn't be in a personal inventory.
I was having similar problems with my games and that's why I ended up using Traveler mod from NRAAS to spread them out over several different worlds.
If you don't have the parents (or their ghosts) in your packed sims package the brothers/sisters won't be related to each other.
I've packed over 300 sims and their furniture and pets successfully. But having that many sims in a world leads to problems so I have been spreading them out over many different worlds and I have a sim (or group of sims) from my current world to travel to the other worlds so I can play in that world. The relationships are retained if you use NRAAS Traveler mod to move them to different worlds.

@texansky Make sure you don't have anything but packages in your mods folder. I accidentally stuck a .rar in there and it messed up my load time. Also, make sure you don't have anything that really belongs to Sims2. I accidentally put some rugs in that were sims 2 rugs and of course they didn't show up, but, my game lagged horribly and those were the last things I had put in. Removed, everything was better and that was when I checked them and they were for sims 2. The Nraas site has some great tips for helping your game play better here: http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Tips+For+Better+Game+Performance I love porter and have used it quite a bit, but, only moved about 30 people (3 families) with it.

Bachelorette Party
When the party started, the girls had no trouble congregating outside in the entertainment lodge. Not everyone invited was able to stay, but most were there. One or two guests brought food. Bunter made another dish earlier in the day. Piers and Bunter went to a pub, but came home just before midnight. The party was still going strong then, and the ladies were glad to have two more guys to dance with.
The game outfitted Hera in the usual Bachelorette dress, but she wore her own silk stockings.
Caprice, as a fairy, loved the dancing and asked several girls to dance with her just for fun.
Hera asked Caprice to give a toast.
Then Hera was the first to get sprayed with nectar.
Stan the Dancer was ready to liven up the party.
Stan went down to the small nectar cellar to strut his stuff. Notice that one of the ladies, the mail carrier, is a Loner and the crowded room was bothering her.
Then Simon, another Dancer, arrived and a Dance-Off began.
Simon: To the Death, Stan! To the Death!
Caprice chose to hold her own private party in her house two or three times. She's the only fairy in Rinn Fada.
Three of Bunter's exes showed up. Laurie was one.
Ruth and Leona also were there. Clodagh had to work. And of course, Christine the vampire had moved to Midnight Hollow. Hera autonomously sketched one of the dancers. I think it was Simon. He'd already changed into weird swimwear.
In fact, Hera got quite chummy with the guy. All innocent though. They just seemed to hit it off. I guess.
The Loner went over to the house to drink by herself.
Two ladies passed out. Both were Bunter's exes. Leona was the first to drop.
One guest played darts in the game room.
Then Piers and Bunter came home. While Bunter was in the pool, one of the wilder ladies went skinny dipping. Bunter didn't take notice, but Piers enjoyed the sight.
Everyone seemed to like dancing outside to the little rock stereo. Laurie changed into her nightie. Ladies kept asking Piers to dance, but they left Bunter alone, though a couple were giving him looks.
Ruth talked to Laurie about something romantic and everyone got the same thought bubble. I looked that icon up and it has to do with being annoyed because you were asked to do something. Maybe Ruth was daring Laurie to kiss someone.
Laurie collapsed.
Caprice sprayed Bunter with nectar. He must have thought that was charming. You can see Ruth in the background working on the fixer upper car that Bunter bought to replace the one he'd sold to pay for the renovations.

Ruth was the last guest to leave. She asked Piers to slow dance with her. In fact, Ruth acted pretty aggressive with both Piers and Bunter during this party and the wedding. Ruth had been Bunter's longest affair. Six days. HA! Maybe she'd been expecting more.
The Bachelorette Party was a big success, and I'd have to say the ladies actually partied harder than the guys did at the Bachelor Party.
@lanlyn , the Kraken is Bunter's brother?! I never expected that twist! I enjoyed their fight, and Bunter's phone was a funny contrast with their conversation and the way they look!
I love the bachelorette party. The two dancers having a dance-off to the death were my favourite part!
