    Is anyone actually playing?
    I am but the community part has been almost at a stand still.
    HI! My name is SimsAddiction968
    I discovered Sims 1 summer 2001 when my youngest was 1 yr old.
    I bought all Eps & Sps for Sims 2 as they were released.
    I even bought Sims games for our consoles and handhelds.
    I have bought all Sims 3 Eps & Sps as the were released.
    I have held my grandson while playing. He is now 5 and plays FreePlay.
    I have pre ordered Sims 4. I have the Sims 2 mouse and waiting on Sims 4 mouse.
    I have a Freezer Bunny tattoo and a bracelet tattoo of the Sims 2 aspirations.

    YES! I am addicted to The Sims no matter the form.

      even i have been playing sims since i was a kid.... now after completing bachelors... am still playing... its fun to see how sims have progressed soo much over the years... Currently i m playing sims 4 and sims freeplay...... yes the game is really addictive... in the intial phase when i got sims 4.. i would be playing the sims 4 until 4am in the morning.. LOL.. now i m trying to balance it out...

      I started the Social Spa Event last night. You're right, the community progress seems to be very slow so far. If I remember correctly, I think the community progress for the Tropical Romance Island Event started out slow as well, but seemed to pick up after a few days. Hopefully this will too!

      Heya! It might look slow to move but it's definitely moving! :D

      Some people may not have updated to the Spa Update yet so there's likely to be even more people helping move that Global Progress bar along! Don't forget, since it's Global, this means everyone in the world who plays The Sims FreePlay is helping move that bar by collecting crystal!

      It's really picking up today. I love the new windows and doors we just unlocked, especially the doorways with curtains! Thanks for all the fabulous new content and the fun community events. We appreciate all the hard work you put into this game! :)

      Seriously, can't put down my phone either! Was so glad when I saw we had unlocked the Doors and Windows... look like we're gonna be ramping this up to top gear soon and picking up them rewards in no time! Can't wait!

      If it doesn't automatically update when you open your game goto play store to app then click update.

      I have been trying to complete the spa event since it began. I constantly have 3 sims collecting gems at once and 1 sim collecting garnets. I try to get bonus gems as they come up when the sims are collecting. I have been working on this event for awhile. There are only 3 days left and im just halfway through. How is everyone completing the spa event so quickly? Do you have all of your sims collecting gems at once? I really wanted the spa package but I dont think ill have enough time. :worried:

      Get as many of the garnet stones that you can, I've currently got 10 or 12 collecting. Also make sure you do the daily task.

      It really sucks that you can't add time. I want the spa resort prize so badly. Its so lovely but I started the event 2 days late and now I'm way behind. I kind of don't even want to try anymore if I can't get the main prize. Don't really wanna waste my time for nothing you know?

      Do they ever repeat events? Cause I really want the whole spa, and there is no chance I will finish in time :(

      Yes. They usually repeat the events after some months :)

      We do repeat events every so often but what those events are, and when? Well, we couldn't tell you ;)

      I hope they do the tropical island one again soon. Missed that one so it was nice to complete this :)

      And you have managed to make far the best MMO game ever! :)

      I liked the spa event too. But now I am doing the Animal Onesie event which I just ignored in January. It is very good that you already let that event come back because the game is just too simple if we don't have events. So thanks again!

      Still repeating this event so early for me is a confirmation that you have problems because the game now has become too big to expand much further without increasing the minimum requirements more than EA would allow you to do. (EA would probably allow you to stop supporting a couple of the oldest and weakest devices but that I wouldn't expect to be enough to allow a new big island where sims could live and work - and the thus required increase in the game's max number of sims.) So I won't expect this game to really receive many new events or expansions anymore. Instead I alas only expect it to be playable for me one or two year more where you probably mainly just will repeat earlier events. So I really hope that EA will allow you (Firemonkeys) to start developing a version 2 of this game if you don't already work on such a game! And yes - I would expect such a game to not support quite as many weak, old and outdated devices anymore. Keep on the good work! :)
