Overwhelmed by CC

Hey! I am finding it hard to filter through CC to make my game less bland. But I am so over whelmed sim My Sims 4 blog.

Does anyone have any good links to some wallpaper, beds, sofas, paintings/rugs? I just dont know where to start!

I'm desperately trying to find the game fun again but I can truly say the lack of being able to design and stuck with the same "old worldy" pub colour/themes is getting me down. (Sorry if you like em! I've seen some lovely pubs made

)

I always use CC from peacemaker ic, I just love his CC. I can not post anny links yet but his site is called simsationaldesigns or just Google peacemaker ic

Lol, you do realise you will probably be overwhelmed by the responses? You could soon have too many recommendations to know where to begin

I keep thinking of adding some cc in, I haven't yet broken down and done it but I will probably start here as I like Maxis Match stuff.

I am a big fan of Simcredible Designs, and usually only download from them though it's modern type furniture. Recently, I have been on a downloading spree and find myself overwhelmed while decorating in-game. Is there a way to organize CC in files so that everything that goes with one set can be found in one file in-game?

Well, I only download Maxis Match CC, so I go on Tumblr and use the tag '#ts4mm'. I also search for Tumblr pages that only retweet Maxis Match stuff.

theres loads of room sets and individual objects along with walls and floors on the sims resource and modthesims. I recommend pralinesims if u love modern black and white type for floors and walls but theres other artists too that do amazing sets

I get cc from all over the place. The best advice I can give you is to search through a lot of different sites. When you find something that you like, put it in your game. THEN before you go and dl a bunch of stuff, open up your game and see how it looks. A lot of the time it will look good on a website and come up crappy in game. I do this with almost everything now(I ended up with a bunch of junk in TS3) and I have found certain artists and I will only dl their stuff because it's always quality. I use mysims4blog/sims4updates/tsr/newsea(for hair.) I found a lot of the artists I like through mysims4blog though and you kind of just have to look and test stuff out slowly.

I wish, I use the search feature when I find something I know goes with a set to try and get the rest of the set. It would be nice if it didn't come up and I had to click it individually though, like if I type whatever in the search and it just brought up everything related to that set.

also, lookin at lots with cc helps coz some creators et their cc from loads of websites so u can o to links to download items included in that lot and also check out the website they got it from too

Hello.
Just in case you didn't know, on the left hand side of the mysims4 blog site there is a filter that you can use to narrow the posts down to the particular category of cc items that you are searching for. You can also type a search word into the search box on the top left hand side of the site page.

also, type into google: sims 4 (whatever u want) then go to images and u should see cc..i do this all the time for kids stuff and hair and it makes me branch to different websites. just visit the page if u like the cc

Google is my best Friend when looking for any type of CC from blogs/ websites!

You can just google an item and its theme

For example,

The sims 4 medieval CC

http://www.thesimsresource.com/downloads/browse/category/sims4/search/medieval/

The sims 4 child hair CC

http://sims4hairs.com/age/kids/

The sims 4 decor sets CC

http://www.thesimsresource.com/downloads/browse/category/sims4-sets-objects-decorative/

If you know what you doing and careful you can find some pretty amazing stuff.

Totally second peacemaker, his stuff is my favorite. I also have a lot by ung999, pilar, and simcredible (all on thesimsresource). I like to browse tumblr blogs to find stuff because they tend to reblog from tumblr as well as posting stuff from other sites (like tsr and modthesims). It can be overwhelming like you said though which is why it's easier to find really good makers and stick with them or go in knowing exactly what you're looking for. If you just go to a blog and scroll it'll take forever to sift through, so it's easier to go in knowing what type of item you want and use the tag system to find them (all the good cc tumblrs will have a tag page).
