How should I go about this?

My current Sims have three kids (one teen and two children) and now they're having another baby (by accident, oops!). So is it better to play your households on rotational when the kids age up to young adults or focus on one household and let the others run their course?

I think it would be better to focus on one household BUT still interact with the other households, like invited them to dinner or so :3

That's a pretty good idea. I'll probably focus more on the oldest when he moves out but maybe switch over to the others so that they can have kids too since there is no story progression in households that aren't active. I don't want the family dying out! :D

When that happened to me I started the playing rotationally because I loved all the kids too much to choose just one to play. It was one of the best decisions I could've made because they each ended up in a very different situation and showed me how to play the game in a different way.
