@chips46 I think you did an amazing job with the mediterranean style, which I think down the track we may work on some styles (something I am not so great at haha)
Would you like feedback on interior also? if so will try get it done over this weekend.

Here is a little tutorial on making lattice roofing for patio's and gazebos. We will be doing them in the next practice challenge so I thought I would show you all how I make them for anyone that hasn't attempted them yet
LATTICE ROOFING
Before starting press Ctrl, Alt and C button to bring up the cheat mode and type in bb.moveobjects (otherwise known as Moo). Press Ctrl, Alt and C button to close the window again.
Step 1 - Place your patio or gazebo and make sure you are happy with the shape as it will be hard to adjust later.
Step 2 - Select your room and then press the up arrow to go up a level, a yellow ring around your room will appear. Click on this yellow ring and an option to create roof will appear, click on that so you have a roof.
Step 3 - Select the fencing to use as your lattice, I usually use the fence for window shopping but you can get away with the Smooth Keeper fencing also depending on the look you are going for.
Draw your design on your roof.
Step 4 - Using the sledgehammer tool click on the sections of roof you would like to remove, I like to leave some in the centre to attach a ceiling light to so it doesn't look like its hanging from mid air. But you don't have to leave any if you don't want to.
Step 5 - Attach some columns of your choice so that the roofing doesn't look to be floating and is being held up by something.
Step 6 - Using the exterior trims tool add your trim around the edges so that it covers up the column joins to the roof.
Step 7 - If you left a section of roofing make sure to cover it with some floor covering of your choice.
Step 8 - You can decorate your lattice roof with some plants, I tend to use the Alt button alot here I hold it down to place the plants in spots that fit well with the shape of my roof. Tip: If you select the item hold the Alt button down and then hold down the left mouse button at the same time and move the mouse you can swivel the object around to face any direction you like. Very handy when working with rooms or areas that are not square
Step 9 - Don't forget night view, you want to use a ceiling light that looks to attach to the roofing and or other room lights such as standing lamps or exterior lights. Tip: If you want to place a light on top of the fencing like you see either sides of the gate in the picture. Select the light then press the 9 key on your keyboard to raise the item up to the height of the fence (the 0 button will drop it back down).
I think I have now answered everyone that wanted feedback on part 3 of the first challenge on the interior, if anyone still plans to do it thats fine i will still give feedback to any challenge at any time.
Also you dont have to complete all of the challenges, if you only want to work on one or two parts of it thats fine to.
I will be posting up the next practice challenge in the next few days with the help of @crysk who is supplying a great shell for it.
Such helpful tips @crysk and @Cbear13
I'm still doing the last part of the practice challange, it's taking me a while to get done as it's the school holidays where I am so I've got children at home!! Same goes for the other challanges on other threads, I'm working through them all
The interior of your home looks very nice! @Amiejaidenalbie_1988 Very nice living room! The sunflowers are a nice sunny touch on the coffee table, and the tissues and books are nice home touches on the table. Sims will enjoy resting on the sofa or armchair watching tv or reading a book from the bookcase. The floral wall pictures add a nice look to the room. Very nice design of the kitchen! The placement of the cabinets looks nice, and the white colour of them gives a nice look to the room. It is great that there is an eat in area in the room. The flowers are pretty on the table for sims to see whilst enjoying dining there. The pears wall picture, the tea bags, fruit bowl and cake display case are nice kitchen touches in the room. The green and yellow colour schemes of the bedrooms look very nice. The flowers on the bedside tables and the leafy bedhead wall picture are pretty and nice for sims to see when waking in the mornings.
The home is very nice!
@Amiejaidenalbie_1988 if you upload and include the gallery link with the pics I can download again and sent feedback via the mail like last time . Looks great from the pics
Practice Challenge 2 - Part 1 is now posted on page 1, again we will do this challenge in parts and this one will concentrate on a few different things from challenge 1.
