    Apartment Life had open building?

    I was thinking as The Sims 4 is closed world while The Sims 3 was open world, and consider if an EP brings Apartment Life, then I ask this
    AL at TS2 was open at same building?

      If you mean kind of like a mini open world/lot, then yes. It kind of was. We can have up to 4 playable households on an apartment lot and it has a nice feeling of openness to it. I generally add a little park to my apartments so the kids can go outside and play together.

      I think there's a mod that allows shopping too, but I'm not 100% positive about that.

      As for the question? I'm not really sure what you mean. The mini worlds in s4 are basically the same as having an apartment in S2, but there are no loading screens to visit your neighbours, and editing the lot while it's occupied is not advisable.
      Dissatisfied with Sims 4 and hoping for a better Sims 5

      We'll probably see this in the Sims 4, but the Sims 2 Apartments were so much better than Sims 3. I hope the Sims 4 looks back at Sims 2.
