    What am I forgetting, Santa was a no show? (photo)

    I have never had Santa Claus show up in my game, so I decided I would like to give it a try.

    I have the Christmas Tree, and the Santa Cookies all set out for him to eat. There is even Christmas Music playing. All this was set up before midnight.

    In the next room is a teenage girl who went through all the hard work making those lovely cookies for a Santa that is a no show. She was hoping to meet the man. Is there anything I'm forgetting to get Santa Claus to show up? Does it make a difference if there are children in the household or not, because the only child in this household is a teenager?

      I've never tried to summon Santa so I don't know. I just had to comment on Mortimer: he looks so angry. I can just imagine what's going through his head. He stayed up all night for this!?

      Yes he seemed a little put off didn't he, but he didn't stay that way very long, he was enjoying the festivities too much to bring his mood down very long.

      No, the only two things they need are the tree and the cookies. The cookies should be put out before 10pm and Santa usually comes around 11- iirc.

      If the cookie plates are empty or bad, they'll only get coal.

      I left the cookies out for 3 days straight. I did change the plate to keep fresh cookies ready for him, but still a no show. :(

      I think the problem is that you didn't use the "official" Christmas tree. Santa is only summoned if you use Maxis Christmas tree and place some Christmas cookies somewhere in the lot. Santa usually comes at 10pm.

      That was an official Christmas Tree, it came with the game. But I will try the other one to see if it does the trick.

      I didn't know! I think you need to use the one that came with the Holiday pack. It looks like this:

      Your right, it was the tree. As soon as I changed it out, he showed up.

      Please not he is spawn from the christmas tree and a toilet might be needed, too.

      I once put a christmas tree at the roof of a dorm which was not accessible for sims. That was a bad idea as Santa emerged at the roof and every sim in the dorm attempted to watch him.

      *I turn the toilet to where he can't get to it so Santa doesn't clog the toilet.

      The first time this happened it freaked me out. Didn't know it was part of the game. lol

      I might sound dumb but oh my god, I had no idea santa could show up in the sims 2! I'm definitely trying this out :D

      I'm with you. I've been a sims 2 player for over a decade and I didn't know that.
