How do I link video or moving images? That was the only thing I couldn't find in your tutorial. Awesome tutorial by the way.
Hello @Brendy927 .
Try just posting the adress link to the video in the comments section of the post. If is a YouTube video, the video screen should appear in the post once you have posted the post.
Thank you @rosemow I think its not working for me because I tweaked something wrong on my youtube channel then.
Try quoting what I wrote in the above post, and then you can see how I posted the link. Try posting the link the same way that I posted it, in the thread that you would like to post the video.
Forums are the best field to share our thoughts about any topic in small sentences. We can learn more about any topics in this world. I would like to suggest forum posting to clear out doubts.

Or did I miss that? I did read through all pages I think, but maybe I missed something.
I love this forum & being able to talk to other simmers but man, is it hard to learn. I work with computers every day & I swear I'm not as big of an idiot as this site makes me feel sometimes. But I definitely feel like an idiot. It's sort of difficult to navigate what I just don't have permissions for as a newbie verses what functionality I simply can't find. I try reading these things but I still feel sort of at a loss sometimes & spend way too long trying to figure it out.

Hello @vintagesaturday Because you are a not a full member yet, you are unable to edit posts. When you become a full member you will from then on be able to edit the posts by pressing the cog wheel on the right hand side of your post.
Simmers are unable to delete posts.
Follow up question. If I'm unable to edit (yet) or delete a post what am I supposed to do if something needs to be removed?
Context: I made a post which I thought was totally fine (didn't think anything I read in the rules was against it) but another member said I wasn't allowed to talk about that. Obviously I didn't know this before hand or I wouldn't have posted it. I don't want to get in trouble or banned or flagged or anything so I wanted to edit or remove it - which now you helped me out by telling me I can't, but I'm at a loss.

Hello.
You have posted on the thread that you didn't realise that you weren't meant to post about it. You didn't realise beforehand, so you have explained the situation. When you become a member, you can then go back and edit the post.

Did they change that, @rosemow? I'm pretty sure I could edit my posts when I was a new member.

Hello @greenXen . Yes, it has now been changed. It is has started happening over the last weeks. New members can't edit their posts, and so also can't move their threads from one section of the forums to another.

Huh, I had the ability to post and now it's gone again. I don't have any messages to say I got banned, but it seems unlikely that the ability to post and not post would be given/taken away in less than a day so I don't think it's related to being new since I could post yesterday.

Hello.
Are you having issues starting a new thread? Did you start a new thread using your phone yesterday, but are using a computer today? New members are finding that they are restricted from starting a new thread when using a computer, due to the recent spambots issue.

@rosemow I used my computer yesterday and started a thread which has now been removed and gives me a permissions error when I went to revisit the notification. I can not start a new thread today, either from phone or computer. I didn't get any messages notifying me I was banned or anything, but when I go to message someone I get the same permissions error. No button at all to start a thread. I know I'm new and not a full member yet, but I was able to start threads literally 12 hours ago.
I finally have enough posts to be a member, but not points. The only badges I can earn are related to getting the likes or lols or whatever or hitting 100+ comments. It feels like it's taking forever, but hopefully if I comment enough I can get there so I earn posting privileges.. or see if for some reason they just took mine away.
Which if mine alone were taken away I'd be very concerned why I wasn't informed by them of what exactly I did wrong. But hopefully that's not the case. I really wasn't trying to do anything bad. The only thing I can think of was the post I made which got removed - which I legitimately read the rules and didn't sense it was above teen related since it was all content already allowed in the game. I've seen far worse mods discussed on a daily basis without issue.
