If you were given the chance to pick the next game pack... what would it be?

I'd personally would like a city/suburban type of game pack that included different hobbies, new careers and new community lots.

Hobbies that were in Sims 2 and 3.
Careers that haven't been made active.
Community lots like the science centre, movie theatre, community centre etc.

In regards to a game pack specifically, I would have to say I'd like to see more careers playable or non-playable just so that there is more variety of occupations amongst all of the sims in the world.

If I could pick the next game pack it would have to be sports I need basketball tennis baseball soccer and activities like karate and skating.
Sims 4 went from "You Rule" to "One of the stories we want you to tell"

Something sports related. But idk how many sports they could fit into a GP. Lots and lots of animation required.

Some of the animations are already in game -- for example, kicking a soccer ball and hitting a baseball are in the Incredible Sports game on the Motion Game Pad (I forget the exact name). Might just need some fine tuning to free them from the machine.

I wouldn't mind seeing a vacation game pack, maybe to a beach resort with a hotel, buffet for dining, gambling, relaxing on the beach, beach volleyball and pool volleyball, maybe fishing with some new ocean fish varieties (sharks, swordfish, etc.). Maybe a chance to find buried pirate's treasures. B) Players with Spa Day could modify the hotel to add in spa features like massage.

I would pick a supernatural game pack to make up for the lack of life states in the previous ep. I'm not sure if it would be too ambitious for a game pack but it would be good considering people don't necessarily have to buy it and they won't be missing out on core gameplay if they don't buy it.

I want a Creative Sims game pack. More crafting and creating things in general, for kids and grownups. I want to be able to make preserves/jams/pickles, a dehydrator to make fruit rollups and to dry spices, sewing machine, knitting needles, a metal shop, the sculpting station, macaroni art/ friendship bracelets for kids, and a watch making station. I think it would be awesome if sims could buy/ sell watches, especially really expensive ones. I just want more ways to spend simoleons.

Also, yes please to the sports one. I want more group sports activity like basketball, tennis, volleyball but also more gym machines like the exercise bike, a cross trainer, a squatting rack, etc. And a climbing wall, definitely a climbing wall! Throw in a golf driving range with tennis courts and we can build fancy golf/ fitness clubs (I hope membership in clubs (not like a group in get together, but like a golf club) become a thing).

I could see them making a sports related game pack with a new lot and a bunch of sport activities, soccer, basketball etc.

Hobbies sound kinda fun and I can see that being a game pack. I wish we could get like a band/music thing, but I don't know.

A Kids Game Pack. More clothes, accessories and stuff for kids to do, even if its just more toys and playground items.

Or a restaurant Game Pack. That would go well with Get Together. Sims can go out for 3 course meals and have unique interactions at dinner, like playing footsie (ah I loved the Sims 2...), throwing a drink at the table, proposals, eating one another's food etc. Waiters and Chefs could be NPCs and you can have the option to scold or flirt with them....It should also come with formal outfits and hairstyles. I would LOVE that.

I'd love a vacation themed pack, or go to school with preteens and toddlers

A sports related game pack with lot of activities or one like ORetreat, I really want another family destination ♥

I'd love to have an amusement park. Bring on them ferris wheels, merry-go-rounds, roller coasters, bump cars... it would be an awesome spot both for families and couples. Just think about all those cotton candies waiting to be eaten, rides to be tested and different games like whack-a-llama to be played. I would buy it without thinking! :D

    Either.....

A car related GP (like in the surveys, but to make it more GP worthy I would take out the sight seeing)
A restaurant GP. With possible expansion with the Pizza Oven and teriyaki stand.
A Casino GP. Gambling Skill, slot machines and poker tables. Plus a huge variety of Neon signs.
A nursery GP. Not only to accomodate toddlers IF they come, but also to expand on babies. Baby bouncers, infant baths, baby monitors.

I'd like one with more active careers to play, but I think that's too much for one single game pack. Perhaps a restaurant GP? I'd love that ^_^

Also, I would like that "Town Life" EP idea that was in the survey as a GP.

Let's face it, I'll buy whatever they come up with next. I'm Maxis' b*tch!

I loved the Free Time EP in Sims 2 and would love to have more hobbies in Sims 4. To be honest, there are so many things I'd like to see RETURNED to The Sims that I wouldn't know where to begin listing them. Well, yes, I do. Toddlers are still on the top of my wishlist.

For game packs, I'd like a pack with more romantic interactions such as the old attraction system from Sims 2, either a 🐸🐸🐸🐸 matchmaker (from Sims 2) or online dating sites, and a gift-giving interaction. My sims used to love going shopping in Sims 2 and then giving an item as a gift to someone.

I really miss all the shops we used to have. I've added a few shops to my game with townies as retail owners, but there isn't room for much expansion in our tiny little worlds.

But back to romance. I wish EA/Maxis would remove the linear checklist from dates and allow dates to be "scored" with a system similar to Sims 2. Most of all, I wish there were more romantic whims and that whims were more contextual to the sims' experiences. What I mean is, if a sim is on a romantic date with the love of his life, he shouldn't pop up a whim to buy a dishwasher because of some trait he has. How about getting a whim to kiss the girl? How about a whim to propose? How about a whim to hold hands with his date? And on the same topic, I hate the generic "someone"...such as a whim to "hug someone", "kiss someone", "flirt with someone" or "woo-hoo with someone". For serial romantics, that might be all right, but for sims in committed relationships, it's insulting, IMHO. The whim system is very poorly-designed, but again, that's just my opinion. I much prefer the "wants and fears" from Sims 2 which changed from moment to moment depending on who the sim was with and what the sim was doing.

I'd like the return of Sims 2 style roommates (and apartments). That's on my wish list

For me, it would definitely be an Active School gamepack for kids & teens.

Anything that gives my entire Sim family more to do. That means lots of stuff for adults, teens, and children. We have more than enough activities for singles and partiers.
