  No, that was only a thing with sims 2... I think and probably sims 1 though ai installed them in any order ahha.

  You can buy and install the packs in any order.

  :) :) Thanks so much for answering my Question :smile: :smiley: Whewwwwwwwww Wasnt sure.... IF anyone knows what patch I would use or if there is one My Sims 4 Base I have did not come with the POOL Feature/ To Build it....? Do you know what I can possibly do??? Thanks so much

  all you have to do is update the game an it will update the game. It will update to the most recent patch.
  while in orgin you will right click on the game icon and click update

  You just have to open Origin and it will update it automatically. If it is not updating automatically, you can just click on TS4 box art and hit 'update'.

  Yeah, you don't download separate patches anymore. Origin does it all.

  OK Sorry to sound "Sim Illiterate" But What is Orgin??????? I am new to Sims 4 just have the Base....I startedplaying the Original / All Expansions then Sims 2 and a couple of them wasnt FOND IMO for many reasons so "Retired" My Simming! :wink: Now with 4 I am back up LOVING my Simming!!!! I use to help alot in the Forums "Back in the Day" OF the Original Sims/ Expansions Helping gamers.........Now I am Clueless to this new "Lingo" hahahaha

  You can't only have the base game and actually play it. You have have downloaded the software called Origin to register and play the game. Unless your copy of the game is pirated - in which case, why are you asking us for help on the official forums and please don't.

  Sorry. It happens here, and not using Origin is often an indication that a game is pirated.
  
  Origin launches when you launch the game. You registered your game in it or you launched it to download the game. Check your software list.
