  Update:
  I've restarted it once more time and it successfully worked...UNTIL after i created my new sim (for a new game) It asked me to select a world/ house, except the whole page is blank, you can't click anywhere to choose a house or a world...and it doesn't even show my households nor my unplayed households..

  hey @jlsims4yas the best thing to after installing anything is rebooting computer, this updates your hard drive as for the save issue see possible solutions here http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/save-game-was-saved-with-an-earlier-version/ good luck

  @ceejay402 I did exactly what the website solution's said;
  
  Close the game
  Go to Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/cache
  Delete all the cache files.
  Move your saves folder to your desktop
  Start the game to create a new saves folder
  Your game should now be back in working order but your existing save games are also gone.
  Try to put each save game from the folder on your desktop into the new one (one at the time) and see if any of them still work. The one with the name slot001 is the auto save and is most probably the culprit since they tend to corrupt when the game crashes.
  The game keeps the last few saves you make. Here’s instructions how to recover them: How do I restore a backup ?
  If not, I’m afraid that you will need to start over.
  
  But, the saved update problem message box keeps coming up, and my select a world is still all blank and all my households including the ones the sims 4 has automatically are not there.

  Hello.
  To reboot , means shut your Mac completely down. Then start the Mac again.
  
  Move your sims 4 saves folder to the desktop. Then start a new game, create your new sim and see if you can place them in the world. If the game is working correctly then exit the game, and move your save files from the saves folder on your desktop into the newly generated saves folder that is in the sims folder , testing after each one to see if the game is working okay. Don't move back the slot_00000001.save file.or any of its versions because that is the autosave file and could be the cause of the issue.

  Did the game work correctly when you started a new game after moving the saves folder to the desktop, before putting back the save files?

  Hello, thanks for responding;
  but now instead of my problem being the saved files on a new update, it is now that when i play my game and create a new sim, when I'm done with creating my sim, I move on to the next step which is choosing a household/selecting a world; I can't do that because the whole page is blank. So my problem now is that the only thing i can do in the sims 4 is create a sim. Nothing else. :(

  Repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.
  
  Move the slot_00000001.save file that is in your saves folder to the desktop. Then test to see if the issue is still there.
  
  Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Start a new game and see if the issues have been fixed. Exit the game and then add back the "options.ini" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" and "custom music " folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders.
  Don't add back the mods folder.
  Then start the game again and see if the game is working correctly or not. If it is working okay, then add back the mods folder and test again.
