With a movie themed stuffpack we could get cinemas in a gamepack or expansion. Post your ideas here for the gurus to see. I will link this to TheSims on Twitter.
Mine
A concession stand that sells popcorn,sodas and candy bars.
Movie theater seats with cupholders.
The option to share food or soda with another sim.
Seats that let sims makeout and a new makeout interaction with these seats.
Venue should have several theaters in it by gendre eg one room has horror,another comedy,another drama and so on.
Photobooths should be added so your sims can take friendly or romantic pics and woohoo.
Seating coded to make townies sit and watch.
The option to ask a sim to join yours.

how about a ticket booth.
Yes. It could work like the booth in Granite Falls. Except that is where you choose which movie type you want to watch. Once you get past that, you go to the lobby and the counter to buy your snacks.
The theater should provide several different options and animations like throwing popcorn, booing. etc.
If sims are talking, you should get the "Shhhhh!" interaction if you click on them. lol
Related idea that occurs to me would be cool if you got a "write review" interaction afterwards on the computer. And you could even get a little money for writing one.

but i want Sims to have the option to sell tickets too.
I doubt our sims could work as a theater attendent.
We have Bartender and Yoga Instructors so far so why not Ticket attenders as NPCs or have your sims the ticket stand as a option.

In the sims 2 it was possible to put that video file in your Sims Documents, and that video could play on your sims' tvs. Wouldn't it be awesome to make your own sim movies and watch them at the theater?
