@soapsuds, Thanks for the recommendations! I am dutch and I don't mind reading english subtitles. Sometimes I put english subtitles below because there are no dutch ones I've seen the first three movies you recomendad and the strangers so I'm gonna write the other ones down! Thank you again!
@kailayy, I put Sinister 2 on my list too. I really liked the first one.

Its awesome.
But I don't usually classify zombie movies as horror.
If you do, then there is also:
28 weeks later
World War Z
Død snø (Dead Snow)
Frankensteins Army (formerly known as Worst Case Scenario), starring Joshua Sasse (Galavant)
Shaun of the Dead (which is part of the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy. All three being based on horror genres, and featuring a cornetto.)
Black Sheep
Undead
Wyrmwood
Those last three lead into two other generes.
Undead and Wyrmwood both being Ozploitation films.
100 Bloody Acres
The Cars That Ate Paris
Mad Max
Mad Max 2
Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome
Mad Max Fury Road
Wolf Creek
BMX Bandits (starring Nicole Kidman, as you've never seen her before)
Mad Dog Morgan
Black Sheep, being an NZ equivalent of Ozploitation.
Housebound
What we do in the Shadows
It just depends for me. The horror genre is a very interesting one, considering there are many movies considered horror that aren't really scary or even horrific, such as Jaws or Freaks, but have some horror elements to them. Kind of seems like a broad blanket.
I think 28 Days Later could still classify as horror for me (especially considering I don't technically consider them zombies), but there were definitely some horror elements still present in it. I can maybe see a point in saying movies like Dawn of the Dead, Serpent and the Rainbow, etc aren't horror, but I guess it would all depend on your definition of what horror is.
28 Days Later had a lot of suspenseful moments and some potential scares to it, at the very least. So I'd still definitely consider it horror. But yeah, you bring up an interesting discussion on what really should be considered horror and what should be considered a different genre.
The Bodyguard they, I went to the musical with my parents and uncles without watching the movie they aired it on television on Sunday so I watched it. Great movie

@Movotti and @soapsuds, I like zombie movies too so I'm gonna write it all down Thanks!
If you like zombie movies, there's a few of those I could recommend:
-Night of the Living Dead
-Dawn of the Dead
-Day of the Dead
-Zombi 2
-The Evil Dead, The Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness (can be debated whether or not they're zombies, but they're a bit like zombies)
-Serpent and the Rainbow
-Messiah of Evil
-Versus (Japanese movie)
Just be warned: I know you said you don't like gory movies, but it can be pretty hard to avoid that with zombie movies. I think Night of the Living Dead, Serpent and the Rainbow, and Messiah of Evil are on the fairly low side of violence, but again, it can be hard to avoid.
Anyway, I recently watched How to Train Your Dragon 2. Probably the fourth time I've seen it, and I love it every time. Definitely one of my favorite animated movies.
@Soapsuds I LOVE zombie movies. That Japanese one is next on my list, asian horror tend to be more psychological than gore. When it's done right it's scary as hell

Agreed. There were a solid few years where I was obsessed with Asian horror movies, and I still enjoy watching them now. Some of my favorite movies are Asian horror movies. Tons of fun.
By the way, Versus is way too fun of a movie. Not much of a story, but it's such a fun movie. Highly recommended.

@Movotti saw that at the cinema as a surprise. Absolutely loved it!!!
Still find it weird seeing the places I normally hang around in the film though
Matthew.
I have mixed feelings about it, it was a great movie but so depressing.
What a load of poop.
I haven't. Will try to watch it.

Oh boy, it kinda left me reeling, stuck between confusion and total disappointment and something like WHHYYYYY?!!!!!!.
