    How long will it take to install the sims 2 ultimate collection?

    It says that it's gonna take five hours and it's only in 5% after 30 minutes how long will it take?!

      There's really no telling. It could speed up and be done in an hour or it could take a day. Try to distract yourself with something else and come back to it later.

      For me: Veeeery long time. I didn't shut down my computer when I went to sleep.

      It varies. It took my pc 24 hrs to load it but the rest of the game is smooth... Although I may buy a new computer next year!

      Yeah the first time it look like 3 and a half hours but the second time it took half a day. I was too tired to play by then lol

      Are you talking about just installing it or downloading it? Took me 3 days to download but only minutes to install it.

      Where is everyone finding this? I tried to email EA and ask and spent over an hour waiting for a 'chat associate' that never showed up.

      I went to the Origin website and clicked on EA Help. I filled out the various forms until I got a choice of what type of connection I wanted. I tried Live Chat once but got cut off. After that I chose phone call. They called me back within a minute or two. I talked to more than one over the next couple of days trying to solve different problems and almost all had strong accents of different types that made some difficult to understand but all we

      You do have to keep in mind that UC is 8 EP's and 10 SP's all in one. That's a lot. It took a couple hours to download for me.

      Downloading it took ages, I don't know how many hours as I started the download when I went to bed, but when I woke up in the morning it was downloaded. But installing took about 30 mins.

      the sims2 uc is 12gb take about 3 hours to download

      I think it depends on your computer and your internet speed. Mine took no more than an hour to download.

      Yup, depends on internet. This is the full collection.

      It took me 2 hours. Side note: Starting up the game for the first time will stall but this is normal. It has to set up folders.
