Hello and welcome to my New Year Lottery! I’ve been away from the forums for a while but now I’m back I’d like to host a lotto to say thank you to all the kind and generous people on here

All you have to do is fill out the entry from below that says your username, who you’re entering, wishlist link, and a picture of anything to do with New Year e.g. food, parties etc…

Rules
• Anyone can enter
• You can only enter yourself once unless, but others can nominate you as well
• You can either enter yourself or yourself and two other people or three other people
• Please follow the entry form otherwise entries won’t be counted
• Please make sure you enter before January 1st at 10am GMT
• Don’t forget to post a picture relating to New Year
• Don’t be mean to other people or ask people to nominate you
• Make sure you have a wishlist
• Have fun!

Q: How many entries can I submit?
A: You can either enter yourself or yourself and two other people

Q: Does the picture have to be in game? Or just any picture related to new year's?
A: It can be a picture of anything to do with new year, so either google images, real life picture or one in game

Q: Can I forfeit my spot for another nomination instead, so I can nominate 3?
A: Yes you can also nominate three other people as well as long as they're all different people

@SjappielovePaul, thank you hon for thinking of me! I have no pictures yet, not even sure how to get one from the game to my picture hosting site! Having been gone for several years, I have forgotten everything! It used to be second nature. I can't even make an avatar or signature anymore. Pathetic, I know.

This gives me incentive to at least try!

I usually take some screenshots in game, shape them up with GIMP and then upload them on tinypic to post links here

@SjappielovePaul, not familiar with Gimp but that's OK. Baby steps for me. When I take a pic in game, what do I do from there? I'm sorry.

@Okblondee7 - Well, if it's good the way it is, you only have to go to a website like tinypic and then upload it from where you saved it. The pictures should be in Documents - Electronic Arts - Sims 3 - Screenshots. So on tinypic for instance you click on that button that lets you pick a picture. After that you click on upload and it gives you a couple of links

I usually cut them into the right shape that I want or stuff like that with GIMP, but that's not necesarily

GIMP is a free photo-editing program that allows you to play with your pictures to make them prettier

It's not hard to use - well... the basic things aren't hard to use (I've used it and there's your proof) and doing things like brightening, sharpening and playing with contrast can make a huge difference in how your pics look. Since it's free, there's no risk - try it out when you have a minute.

GIMP is a really nice editing program! And for the people that would rather not install something, but prefer editing online, there's PicMonkey, which is a very useful site and easy to use!
