The Exchange Is Bor.... FIXED! YAY! THANK YOU TEAM!

Does anyone know why? I see people on MyPage (which is also wonky lately) uploading and I have uploaded some things but the exchange hasn't updated with the new uploads for 3 or 4 days now ??? Also, a few days ago I tried downloading from the exchange and the launcher said it installed but then the households weren't in my game and when I went back to my launcher, it was like they never downloaded.

Any ideas on what's going on?

I'm having the same problem (considering I have been gone for almost a year) I made a lot and some pets and there not uploded in the exchange or in the studio but if I click my studio its there

I'm having the same problem as well uploded a few sims to the exchange but they dont show up in the exchange but there in my studio.

I tried uploading a few different things (patterns, lots, sims, households, objects) and they are all in my studio but not showing up in the side panel on MyPage or in the exchange. It looks like nothing new has been added since Dec. 11.

Yes, no new uploads are appearing on the Exchange since the 12th. According to EA Help the development team are doing some maintenance and have disabled some of the features - like our uploads appearing on the Exchange. Would be nice if we got one of those maintenance notifications.

Yes, it definitely would have been nice.

Now, my uploads are getting a "transfer error"

WHY IS THE SIMS 3 EXCHANGE DISABLED??? STILL!!!

Subrat - EA Help - "Deborah, I was discussing your issue with the development team and they told me that there are some maintenance is going on Sims 3 website due to which some of the features have been disabled. I sincerely apologize for your inconvenience. Since its a temporary maintenance you will be able to access the exchange features in Sims 3 soon".

Nitin - EA Help - "Okay, I have checked, I apologize for that but its a issue related to the developer and the management team. Yeah I can understand the disappointment".

Kristi, EA Community Manager - "We have looked into this and hope to have the issue resolved as soon as possible! I shall let you know if I have any further updates!"

Be honest peeps - either it is a "Temporary Maintenance" (laughable) or it is an "Issue". If you MUST plum us please get your story straight first! So not impressed ...

The only excuse I could possibly give at this point is that the holidays are very busy. Although, it went down on the 11th... almost 12th and it's the 20th now... I really hope they aren't shutting it down and "forgetting" to tell anyone. I can't stand it when people talk in circles, anyway. Either you are going to fix it, or you're not. Either it CAN be fixed, or it canNOT. Which is it? Make some announcements or something. I don't think they realize just how many people still (enjoy very much and still SPEND MONEY ON) play The Sims 3. If they did, I don't think they would be so lackadaisical about how they treat players.

If you have stopped maintaining the Sims 3 exchange altogether, at least be honest about it. Creating and uploading sims and lots has been a dear hobby to me for years, and I'd rather not have it die ridiculously like this while keeping up false hope.

Since Spring this year, maintenance on the site has been extensive usually taking a week to almost four weeks when the whole site was down that one time. Considering the changes for Sims 4; the lack of a social site the same as The Sims 3 site and the use of the Gallery, I would imagine that all of it is very difficult to manage or maintain. I'm not on their side by any means, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is the beginning to the end of the Exchange for us.

The last time I logged onto this site was to tell everyone the sims 3 site was fixed that was a year ago...... every year since 2009 The Sims 3 site has gone down around xmas time. I will NOT be changing to the sims 4 so can you please fix the exchange coffee break is over back to work EA.

That is good to know she_devil. I'm terrible because I don't pay attention to things like that. Perhaps they take a month off for Christmas and shut down the Exchange as a measure to prevent issues?

I'll support you, Deb! Though I won't fly to your country to post bail. I can't even afford to fly anywhere in my own country. Or post anyone's bail. Maybe we can make picket signs of a plumbob in a red circle with a line through it, like the no smoking signs. Have you tried @ -ing one of the Gurus? Perhaps they can stop in and try to soothe us with their backpedaling and lies.
