Ambrosia Trouble!

I have the death fish and the life fruit in my fridge, a sim who knows the recipe, yet when i click "serve desert" ambrosia doesn't come up!

And has anyone else noticed that death fish disappear from your fridge?

Hope somebody can help!
Thanks

Indeed, "Ambrosia" sounds like it would be a dessert, doesn't it? Yet it is a main course.

Something you must know ... you can only choose to "have breakfast/brunch/lunch/or dinner" for
yourself when making ambrosia ... you cannot serve a whole meal of many plates of ambrosia ...

    So ...

Choose "have breakfast" and you should see the choice of ambrosia

    or "have brunch"

    or "have lunch"

    you get the idea?

    Does that help?

I dearly love Ambrosia! It keeps the green meter up up up. I used to think it was just for
reviving the dead, but then I learned that I could eat it as an Adult and it would keep me
    young.

In fact my sim eats it about once a week for the happiness benefit.

    Hope that helps ...

    p.s. .... I should be clearer ....

Above I said, you cannot choose to serve many plates of ambrosia,

well you can serve many plates, but you just have to make each one for yourself,
then set it out on the table.

I had a party where I invited 3 other ladies and had 4 plates of ambrosia sitting
    out on the table.

One guest went to sleep in my bedroom.

    One guest watched tv.

And one actually DID eat the ambrosia with me!

    So ...

Somehow you have to try to lure them to eat it, that's the trick!

One out of four isn't bad?

I believe parties serving ambrosia ... is where that food duplicator machine
    would come in handy ...

    Friendly Hug!

    p.🐸🐸🐸🐸. !!!

    I realized I didn't address the death fish/fridge thing ...

I never put the deathfish in my fridge

I keep both the life fruit and deathfish in my inventory.

I suppose when you make sushi or stu fu surprise ... or fish n chips ... (or ?) ...
that the computer may choose to use up deathfish for that recipe?

It is safe in your inventory, and it will not go bad there

    Skip

Skip, you cannot use the food replicator to make ambrosia. It will not allow you to store it in the memory of the machine. I know as I tried.

    p.s.

If you get to level 10 in the culinary career you will get the Minus 1 Kelvin Fridge. Said fridge is the best in the game as food stored in it never spoils. You can only get it though by reaching level 10 in the culinary career.

New_Roosterman is correct re the replicator and ambrosia. Darn-that would have been so handy.
