The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection won't launch?

Hello!
I've been trying to launch The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection for ages but everytime I go to play it, it says: "internal error message: Unable to open Languagefile "lang.ini""-
Can somebody please tell me a solution? I've tried to replace the paul.dll file but that hasn't worked. :neutral:

Hi, Have you tried fixing the game through Origin? Open Origin and right click (or is it left?) on TS2 UC for the option to repair Game, I believe.

Have you tried right clicking and running as administrator?

If you have the sims 3 games on your laptop, find the paul.dll file in your sims 3 folder and copy it to the sims 2 paul.dll folder and it should work! I had the same problem but i fixed it!
