Freezing and Stuttering

Whenever I play any family on TS2 UC, this is what happens:
One second of play, one second of freeze, one second of play, one second of freeze, rinse and repeat. Plus it tells me that there was an error trying to load an NPC Sim on my lot. This never happened before, and I don't know why it's happening!

1. Open Orgin and go to my games.
2. Find The sims 2 ultimate collection
3. Left click and a list comes out.
4. click on Repair Game
