Depends on the lot. Some bigger lots with more stuff take longer to place and load.
    1. The Sims 2
    2. The Sims 3
    3. The Sims 4 (5 years later its decent)
    4. The Sims 1

Less than 10 secs, depending on the save. My current save is about 3 months old.
If I start a new game, it's in a blink of an eye, no joke. XD

They take about 11 seconds on my 1 year old save with my new computer. This is so fast, because they took 5 Minutes on my old laptop xD

5 seconds with a new save... I've had old saves go all the way up to 18 seconds. :astonished: I have the game installed on my hard drive, not my SSD. Still very fast.

    It's a beast and I would've been fine with the 970. Your 960 is a good card, don't sweat it. :D

Yes indeed! :D But I think The Sims 4 plays just as well on a 960 as on a 980. :)

I'm probably going to upgrade the card towards the end of next year and possibly the power supply.

I'm very happy with my card's performance. :)

I've had absolutely no issues so far.

Do you play your game on ultra or high settings? @DeKay @Simasaurus09

I can play it on ultra but I play it on custom. The lighting, reflections and visual effects don't make much of a difference to me, so I just set them to medium.

Yes, sure thing. I think you might be able to play on ultra as well since you're on desktop and not laptop like me.

I just played with the settings - no difference really between high and ultra.

Yep, that's why. You might also want to check that edge smoothing is on high. They're set to low for the "high" settings by default.
