Long story short, my laptop is broke and it may be a while before I can get it fixed so I bought this thing because it was cheap.
I already know sims 3 is out of the question:(, but I've heard that sims 4 is less demanding. Do you think it would work if I bought an SD card (that's what I need to add more gb to the hard drive, right?) and only install the base game without any cc on this?
Thank you in advance

You will end up frying the computer.
You need a gaming computer for the Sims.
Gaming laptops range around $1.000 ($900 depending on sales).
Gaming desktops range around $600 (off-the-shelf), $700 (building your own), $800 (custom).
sorry @angeleb95 i cant even locate its processor info i did find on one site its a tablet detachable thing. ive seen some pretty under equipped systems be reported to play the game but this processor with only 2 gb of ram my hunch is no i personally would return it
as for the broken laptop does it have dual graphics and how is it broken and are you sure its worth getting fixed?
If you need a cheaper laptop, this Dell has a GTX 960M 4GB. ($799)

are they charging tax? The fangbook is custom better video card and processor no tax
Dell is offering free shipping.
Dell only charges tax in thirteen states:
Texas, Kentucky, Nevada, North Carolina, Tennessee, Idaho, Ohio, Virginia, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Missouri, California, and Florida.
Thank you for the recommendations as well, but I can't really afford to spend that much on a new laptop. This is only temporary anyways. Hopefully I can survive a few months without sims

Yes, I'm pretty sure that it does have dual graphics.

I think I fried the charging port and there's some other minor issues
It doesn't look like it has a dedicated graphics card.
Your laptop has a integrated card and not meant for any gaming. It's use is for the general use, such as browsing the web. Since it is a stronger version of an iGPU, you may be able to run some casual games.
Since laptops cannot be upgraded in terms of a new graphics card, the only option is to buy a new computer altogether. You do need a gaming computer for the Sims.
You will end up frying the computer eventually in the computer, because tablets/tablet hybrids do not have the proper cooling to be playing games.
