@Carewren123 Thanks for putting my entry up ^^ Could you delete the "-signs? They don't really belong to the title thanks a bunch!
Took the quotation marks off. I usually just copy and paste, sooo... Went ahead and took them off of @ra3rei 's too, so that it would be the only one in that format.
I just read all of these awesome stories. You guys are so talented how will I even decide who to vote for I do have a few favourites but they're more than 3 xD The struggle is real!
So bummed I didn't get to finish my submission for the challenge! I had my sims made and stuff, but never got to write or screenshot it. If only we didn't have the rule that you can't use a story you'd written for something else Still, I'm looking forward to reading and voting on this month's stories though!
And I won't post a link here since it's not allowed, but I have a short story (that is ineligible for the challenge) that's Halloween-themed that I'll be posting on my blog hopefully later today, so yay for that, I guess I do love Halloween and creepy stories!

*pats on back* at least your not alone. I'd love to have submitted mine but somehow I think being 900 words over the limit is a bit much

I hope you'll still post yours on your blog @AuroraLockwood !
I'm glad you guys are still having fun with the theme even if you're not officially participating
Just a few more hours left to get those stories in for October. If you submitted a story for October can you double check that your submission is on the list on the first page?
Absolutely loving all the entries so far! I have a few favorites of those entered, but it's still going to be tough picking just one. Y'all are so good! Unfortunately, I couldn't think of a good storyline to enter myself, plus I got involved in the Time Lord Challenge, but I still hope to enter in another contest/challenge in the future. Good luck everyone and Happy Halloween! BOO! hehe Did I scare you? No? Oh well, have a great weekend! *Hugs*
Okay guys I'm going to post this a little early, because I'm about to log off for the night. But October's challenge is NOT officially closed just yet. There are two hours left so if there's anyone out there trying to finish at the last minute feel free to submit in that time.
I'll update the front page and post the poll tomorrow.
November's Theme: Lost
All stories with have one word that binds them together: "lost". Do with it what you may. Use any meaning (literal or metaphorical). A character can be "lost" or and object or whatever. Was it lost and later found? Lost forever? You imagination is the only limit... along with those pesky word and picture limits.
No special rules this time around. The regular 500-1500 word and 1-12 picture limit are in place for November.
Ooooo! Loving the new topic! Just like @CitizenErased14 I have some ideas already rattling around in my noggin' and I'm going to challenge myself to enter this month. Yep! \o/ Thanks!
@Carewren123 Are we allowed to write new story using the same characters from October's entry? I think this month I'm going to use two new characters from a different competition I entered, but with this theme, I would like to sneak in this months characters. Is that allowed?

You can use whatever characters you wish. There are no rules on your illustrations besides the amount limit.
You just can't use a story that you have already written.

October 2015Theme: Two Theme's Are Scarier Than One
1. Scary Stories
2. Halloween Inspired
Okay, okay, so the two aren't mutually exclusive, but some people might want to write a scary story that isn't necessarily Halloween related, and some might want to do something Halloween related that isn't necessarily "scary". Some might want to write a story that's about Halloween AND scary; that's great too!
Special Rules This Month:
Even though there are two (albeit related) themes, you still will only write one entry.
For your scary and/or Halloween stories you may use up to 15 screenshots and 2000 words. (That's 3 extra screenshots and 500 extra words to work with. You're welcome )
____________________________________________________________________________________________________ "For Fun" Entries: (Any stories listed here are inspired by the monthly theme, but don't follow all the rules of the challenge and aren't in the monthly poll. Sometimes writers can't put limits on their creativity, and that's all good. Enjoy!)
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Superlatives: This month we decided to start a fun tradition of discussing all the entries by giving each unique "awards" Please know that these aren't official in any way, it is just a fun thing for us to do to wrap up each month. We basically love all the stories not just the ones that win, so we found a way to share some positive feedback. Also everyone is welcome to share their own superlatives each month after voting is finished. If you want to read what people had to say about this month's entries click on the links below.
Just setting up for the archive post/link with that post above. Also you can use it as a sort of last chance to make sure your submission is on the list. I'll be making the poll in just a few minutes.
