I'm wondering if I've accidentally come across a cascade, as I was just clicking around the store trying to get some more ads - and clicked on the 'Skylight Studio' and noticed it had a blue download button! Just downloaded and installed, I assume it's legit. But not sure how/why I got it. Unless I got it gifted and didn't received an email? In which case I am truly sorry for my rudeness for not thanking the person! I am just perplexed!
@AMofOz, That has happened to me a couple times! Once was the casino. The store acts like I don't own the individual items, but I can dowload and install the sets.

In normal posts you can use the tags:
[color=name_of_colour]
[size=size_number]
Each needs ending with the usual [/color] and [/size] as appropriate. For example:
[color=brown][size=7][b]A Big Brown Heading[/b][/size][/color]
I bought the Animal Abound Playground for 175 sp, and downloaded the Tip Tip Toddler Collection and Kids 2010 for FREE! I definitely gonna have fun with all this new stuff

Not sure if there is a list, I just used named some colours and used the ones that looked OK on screen - though different computers can show colours differently so you're never 100% sure that what you see is what anyone else will see!
However your question has prompted me to look a bit deeper and it seems that the forum's BB code supports the common W3 HTML colour code list!
Here's a few random examples:
Red Cyan Silver Gray Grey DarkBlue LightBlue Orange Purple Brown Yellow Maroon Lime Green Magenta Olive deeppink indigo LightSalmon
A quick play couldn't get the hex code equivalents to work, so just stick with the colour names - but do keep in mind that different monitors and different eyes will mean other people may see them differently.

Hi, welcome back!
Basically, provided you own the items, whether purchased or gifted, full price, discounted or free, they will still count towards your CYS discount and any possible cascade. The order does not matter but in compilations some sets have more 'weight' so it's usually best to prioritise them.
The Animals Abound cascade is a special case (it's basically a glitch in the Store database) and is the only one that works like that.
The other "golden rule" of CYS discounts is to never, not ever, buy any item at full price or less than 10% off because you are effectively losing money on the deal. There is one exception though, and that is when you get your very first item in a set. If you do not own any items in a set you can buy your first item at full price and still gain from CYS - but to get the best result always buy the cheapest item.
