how friendly is sims4 when updates/patches come out
iif you use mods or cc?
will you need to remove your stuff or?
I know I would end up needing cc (more than I would by stuff packs)
or even wanting to learn to create it... well recolore items
but I wouldn't like if it needed update every time they patch.
Remove no, but you do need to move the folder out and back in after each patch. I've only seen CC break with one patch and that was in the Spring.

I don't know who it is running that toddler petition, but I find it rather offensive. Not just the misspellings, but the picture of the family without making any mention of what really happened. It seems to me to misrepresent the whole toddler fiasco and cuts against everything I find acceptable. Just leave the family alone. Move on, truly nothing to get excited about. It is just a render and doesn't mean anything either way on toddlers. Just my opinion, but still.....
I want toddlers back and a whole lot more, though I am not sure the base will support a lot of things we miss.

The Sims was and is supposed to remain a Life Simulation since day one, 15 years ago. 14 years later it became a hormone driven party fest. Life is about creating and living, not just dancing and spreading our legs. Life cannot continue without family to continue on after we pass away. Family is a connection of different generations brought together by love and bloodline. The Sims 4 needs to become less of a Modern America Party Boat and more focus on family play. By cutting out an important part of life, you take away a piece of family play, by taking away the depth and reality of raising a family in favor or drinking and dancing. Maxis you screwed up, you shot yourself in the foot and formed an angry mob of customers who've been with you for over a decade or several years. We've spent hundreds to over a thousand or more on Sim products because we enjoyed them and were loyal to you until TS4. Do the right thing, bring back the toddler life stage, and add more family play with it. A single expansion that mimics The Sims 3 Generations will not cut it. Enough fooling around, get serious.

It depends on the mod. Some break with patches and some don't. But yes generally CC is safe.

I gave my testing family a couple of Australian Cattle Dogs (not sure what the breed is called in TS3 off the top of my head, but they are a standard breed. I didn't actually realise that dogs can swim in swimming pools, but here's my two naughty dogs having a swim at the local gym's indoor pool while their humans are at work:

I don't know which threads you've been reading about this render, but I haven't seen all these insults against the CEO and his wife and honestly, I don't think they would care if people said they leaked it on purpose (the only thing I read that I don't agree with, because I'm pretty sure they have no idea about our upset). Why should they care what people write in a game forum anyway?
And SimGuruDrake monitors the behaviour in the big thread closely, insults are against the rules.

I have another tip to suggest if you’re interested in getting rid of a draft completely. You can use this link http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/drafts which will take you to a page that lists all your saved drafts. An x will show up on the far right for each one and you can delete them from there.

I love that dogs can swim in swimming pools; I once had a sim in the fireman career who adopted a dog (a Dalmatian, of course! xD) with the loves to swim trait—that’s when I first discovered that ability. I think the breed type in your screenshots is called an Australian Cattle Dog in the game too, although I could be wrong and they may be known as blue or red heelers instead?
Also love that pets can “sing” along with the radio, and it seems the alchemy shop guy really digs it! I have a pic from my baby challenge where the family’s pet cat is yowling along with the radio while three toddler werewolves howl at the full moon:

@frogprincess_q your dogs are beautiful. I have the hardest time making decent dogs and usually adopt game dogs just so I can get a puppy and start young with them. Do you have them to share? hint hint.

@Anemone7 you've missed the threads I've seen. Really nasty hateful comments directed at the recipients of a gift. This image was stolen from her private social media account (not harvested from her public account) and then used to cause trouble.
The Gurus came out to say it's not a hint and I'm not personally comfortable with allowing a private gift to be used in a way that could cause distress. Essentially the CEO'S wife is a victim of what's happened.
We were promised toddlers. We are allowed to be angry, annoyed and say so. I just don't think in this situation it helps our case to be using something stolen from a private account. We have enough valid reasons for our position in why we expect toddlers without it
