Sims 2 NOT RUNNING!? helppp

I've been playing this game for like 8 months with no problems, and now tonight, I keep trying to open it and it wont start!! Tried clicking on it from Origin and my desktop and nothing seems to be working... Tried repairing it on Origin and still nothing. Help please

I've read a few things to try- like deleting the cache files in the Sims 2 folder.
Delete the Logs folder in The Sims 2 folder and lastly, deleting the UserProps.xml in the Config folder in The Sims 2 folder- in Documents.
