I love a lot this expansion pack because it has too much to offer. Also on the trailer many reviews of press games commented good points about the expansion pack. Because I do not have enough points in the forum I can´t post links or pictures but I will be posting more in order to be able to post links and pictures and also my avatar.
I had my sim visit China and complete some quests to earn a visa point. This is a picture of her on her final day of vacation. How in the world do you eat a slice of cake with chopsticks?!
My husband lived in South Korea for three years and that was one of the things that would amaze him the most. was watching the Koreans eat cake with chop sticks
I enjoy WA, but my only gripe with it is that none of the tombs reset as generations go on. You can have a great-great grandchild who will walk into a dungeon and everything will be completed so they just have to walk through the dungeon to the prize at the end. That was quite disappointing to me. I wish they had made possible an option to 'refresh' the tombs. It would have given the EP more playability with legacy families.

I don't have any pictures, because my sims haven't been travelling lately, (and I always forget to take pics) but I love this EP! It's one of my favs. I just wish there was more to do (for everyone in the family) other than quests.
@girlwhocriedtaylor I make my sims have family holidays regularly. I have the IP Expansion and this makes it so that my sims can so scuba diving, wind sailing, swimming, fishing and camping as a family adventure. I rarely do quests when I take the entire family, but I do the general expected family things. They'll eat at the café, I'll have at least one book with me and for children a toy. I make sure I buy two small tents so I can fit all family members in them. They'll barbeque, maybe go and see a landmark, but more than one person is too difficult to control doing any kind of tomb. If you have one sim who has holidayed enough to get the right to purchase a home abroad, this can stay in the family too, allowing your sims to stay away from the 'home base' locations and have a proper holiday.

World adventures kinda seemed meh to me at first. There's a lot of better expansion packs like seasons, which has been done TOO much, but it is well made.
Yeah, I did buy a house in Egypt once... Wasn't too fond of it because it only had 2 bedrooms and my family had 6 kids so there was a *minor* space issue. I usually only send my sims on vacation so they can go explore tombs. I think WA was the 3rd EP I bought. I loved it and I still do! @MiyuEmi
I don't understand how anyone can not love WA! I understand that the tomb-exploring is repetitive and doesn't feel that much like a Sim game, but there is so much to see and do even without the tombs!
From my Sim's recent trip to Egypt:

My same complaint with Uni and it's really annoying even if sims can purchase degrees with lifetime points.
WA is one of my favorite expansions, if not my very fave!
Haven't gone through the latest batch of screenshots from my current household, but so far I've sent my main guy on money-making jaunts to China and Egypt-- and had him bring home artifacts so that when his little sister got the Opportunity to turn them in at school, they'd have them in the house.
I've also used it to get sims into a romantic relationship while on holiday.

Whenever I see a sim smashing grapes in a light-colored swimsuit, I always think "Noo! The stains!!" lol.
Anyway I will add some of my own pics when I have enough likes. :)
Another mid-jump on fire picture and I might actually play a mummy soon. Something I haven't done yet.
