Packages files not working

i downloaded some package files and i put them to Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods folder. Then i start game it shows a list with all these packages files (non-script mods) also i enabled script mode in options, so i was hoping that everything will run perfectly, but i didn't find any downloaded hairstyles and skins. Idk where is the problem.. Can anyone help me?

Hello.
The cc may be clashing with the latest patches. Try going back to where you downloaded the cc from and see if there has been an updated version released since the latest patches. Also check to see if other simmers are having similar issues as you are having.
Some cc require you to also download a mesh so check to see if you need to download that as well.

Just a little suggestion also that if you have subfolders in your mods folder, you need to edit the resource.cfg file so as the game recognises the cc. This link explains how to edit the resource.cfg file.

Yes with hairstyles and skins specifically you need to open up the .zip folder and actually take the package file(s) within and put them into the mods folder instead of the .zip folder. They aren't script mods and therefore these needs to be unpacked that way to actually work. I had the same problem. Hope it helps
