From the game click "save as" and then give it a unique name like "Pebble" or something that stands out, then visit your Sim 4 save file folder and select all files containing the name Pebbles, and right click, copy to a new destination.
ETA: what Paxion says isn't quite right, saves do not have names in the save file folder, they have slots - if you want to take out one specific save, you should check date and time and back up the file(s) that have the same date and time. Slot no. 1 is always the autosave. More info here: http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/save-games/

I am soo confused! in the saves folder, theres a ton of different files. How am i supposed to know which is which?
You have to go by what day you saved on. When you save or when you save as over the same name, the newest save is named .save and the version before that is kept but renamed .var0. The .var files are older versions of the same save.
