Thanks so much @RivendellStar I do love landscaping and one day that will be my real kitchen floor! Lol I'm totally obsessed with black and white checkered floors!
So I'm building my house and I decided to have a roof top pool thingie and so when I checked the first floor, I saw the pool and a 1x1 space around it. Do I just block it off since I can't really do anything with it or do I do something else?

@PeaceSign101, I think it's fine to block it off. I usually build a wall around it, as long as you can find reason for the wall there,. You don't want a big wall just in the middle of your room, unless it looks right there Hope this helps.
@lisa17ann gorgeous cottage I cant wait to play test all these builds but i may have to put aside a few days to do so lol
@PeaceSign101 you can just block it off, a handy trick with pools above the ground level is you can use them as walls to a room below them and put windows in them so that the room looks directly into the swimming pool. Here is a pic from my pacific cove build the living room wall on the right looks into the rooftop pool

That sounds cool! I think I was going to have a bathroom right next to the pool so would it be weird to do that? o.O
Pretty in Purple is such a very nice home! @Lisa17ann The purple colour scheme looks very pretty! Very nice exterior design of the home! The open shutter flower box windows and the dormers are very nice! It looks very nice how you have used the spandrels in the front porch! The lavender flowers either sides of the front footpath and along the front edges of the home look very pretty! The fish water fountains and the ballerinas look very nice! It looks nice how you have placed the flower arch over the side gate. Very nice furnishing of the interior of the home! The purple colour scheme of the furnishings and walls looks very nice. Very nice living room! The elegant white curtains look very nice on the wall, and the black candles and plant/rocks are nice touches on the coffee table. Sims will enjoy sitting there on the sofas chatting. Very nice dining room! The purple coloured dining seats look nice and the purple crockery display cabinet looks nice angled in the corner. The black plants complement the purple. It looks very nice how you have an archway and spandrels connecting the kitchen and dining room. Very nice design of the kitchen! The black and white chequered kitchen flooring looks very nice! The circles pattern in the middle of the flooring is very nice! It looks very nice how you have placed the purple kitchen cabinets. The knives and utensils are nice touches on the kitchen wall. Very nice backyard area! Sims will have fun swimming in the pool, or enjoy sitting around the fire pit keeping warm, chatting and toasting food. It looks nice how you have placed a number of seats around the fire pit. Sims will enjoy sitting at the umbrella covered tables in the sunshine.
The home is very nice!

@dollarbill88 I have adjusted the comp info
Choose 3 of the following exclude one of the small lots for the Memorial:
Small lot - 20x20 (use 20x15 if you dont have go to work pack)
Small lot - 20x20 (use 20x15 if you dont have go to work pack)
Medium lot - 20x30
Large lot - 40x30 (must use this one)
You can build them on any lot of those sizes and put on the gallery I can place them in Magnolia
@Cbear13 sorry about all the questions :-), I see that you mentioned a 20x30 I couldn't find the deminisions that way would it be ok if it was a 30x20?
@RivendellStar a little tip when taking the pictures as I noticed the lines on your under reno entry to
When you are about to take the picture and you are in build mode, if you press the letter G on your keyboard it will take away the grid lines.
Also if you are sim testing you can get the best pictures, if you get the camera in position for the picture (in sim play mode) then press the TAB button on your keyboard it will take away everything else so you can see what the picture will look like. You can also scroll back and forwards to get wider views of say a room to get more in. Be careful though scrolling out to far will make the room look super stretched. Press letter C when you have the view you want and it takes your screenshot.

I like this then you don't need to search through the pages to see all the entries. This should be on all competitions
