Thank you @christinebremner  I sure am having fun with it - and been sinking a lot of hours

I think this was the vegemite mod that I saw before. It's a TS2 one:
    https://ano2uk2.wordpress.com/kitchen-clutter/wr_australia_vegemite_7-22-07/

This modder has soooo many nice little pieces of clutter, it makes me drool ;)

Yeh CAW is a ton of fun, I love using it too. :)

I love the snake charming basket! They can get bitten sometimes and when they are very good they can kiss the snake  One of my adventurous sims was really good and she made a whole bunch of friends by charming her snake on a public lot for a couple of hours - they loved it

but not like in sims3 where we can't stop the parents... let us as players control it... and atleast be able to stop the action

I know how to stop it. if a teen is brought home by the police, I just lock the door to the room where the parents are and the interaction cancels itself

cool, does it work for late for school to?

There is a new girl in town. She heard Great Southern Land needed playtesting and she was keen to live in the Outback :) (I had to remove those bollards, they were killing the routing :disappointed: )
    screenshot_original.jpg

Her new home, with a wide wrap-around verandah to help keep temperatures tolerable
    screenshot_original.jpg

Mira is a great sport and has already found herself a snake to play with. And yes, she went and found it autonomously  It's nice to see her getting into the spirit of it all.
    screenshot_original.jpg

Her first night in the new house and there was heavy rain. It's always good to get a bit of rain *inhales the smell of cold rain hitting hot baked earth*
    screenshot_original.jpg

The colours I used in the colour ramps are a combination of Lucky Palms and Egypt (I included some heat shimmer too). I just love it! I have gone screenshot mad :grimace: but I will call it quits for now, lol.
    screenshot_original.jpg

I am looking forward to letting her start a family. It just feels like home to me, out there <3 The world has some flaws in it, but until I have done some serious playtesting I will probably leave it as is for a while.

ETA to fix a mishap with posting one pic twice. Replaced pic 2. And yes, that is totally a TARDIS

I think it might do, I had to do it the other day while playing University and for some reason my Sim was in trouble for cheating but he was too busy to listen to his 'girlfriend' so I locked him in the shower room so he could shower in peace ;)

@Frogprincess_q I hope you make your world available once you've tested it. It looks beautiful.

I can do that, but with the proviso that I'm almost a total novice at world building. I'm pretty much learning as I go. Also, I have had to use assets from a few store worlds and many EPs trying to find things that look right - although I have used base game stuff where I could.

    Hi guys.
I just commented on a thread and it reminded me of how upset I was when watching gamescom.
I was really excited and then...
I honestly don't think I can get over this.
    I can't forget that betrayal.
That very day, I lost faith in the Sims.
I think someone needs to tell them that.
But I can't do that alone.
I need to make my point appropriate and worth reading.
I'm just really sick of being upset all the time.
The forum is meant to be a happy place where people can discuss the game.
Now its starting to turn into a war zone and people are already getting hurt.
This is EA's fault and I think that they need to make peace.
I think I've just had a moment of clarity today, about how I really feel about the franchise.
Its like, the game I've grown with and seen my sister play. What does the future hold for my beloved game?
    Its just so sad. :'(
