Dang it! I get a lot of lol's, Mostly when I am being serious LOL
I got those even when I was being serious too, and it still didn't bother me one bit. It's always sad when one bad apple has to spoil the entire basket.
I know this is a wrong section but I don't care! WE NEED LOLS WHY SHOULD THEY BE REMOVED BECAUSE OF "LOL TROLLS". It's not our fault! They were fun, now if we want to let's say find a comment funny we should l...lik....like it WHY?!
Well, maybe it is better that the LOL buttom is away for a while Maybe some people learn how great it is to like something or just shut up when something isn't like his or her opinion. I was never bothered by the LOLs (At least I had the feeling someone found me funny LOL) but I'm a bit tired of drama out here
Getting an LOL to me was an honor, rather than a curse.
That's how I felt too. I think being funny, or having a sense of humor, is great.
I often make jokes w/ family & friends.
But hearing "lol" is a form of harassment?
That's just ridiculous & kinda petty.
Because if that were true, then a LOT of regular members are "guilty" of harassing.
I have read a LOT of these forums since it was first opened. I have a very good memory.
Not naming names, but some are really good at accusing others of the very thing they themselves do. There are a few people that LOL at things so much, that I find myself not even wanting to use acronym that anymore, and have started deleting it from sentences/posts.
Perhaps we should just have no buttons at all. After all, when we do have them, I STILL see some writing out the LOLs anyway...
I am not telling others what to do or think.
Please respect that, since it was not posted to debate or argue. Just an observation.
