    The Sims Castaway, Life, and Pet Stories Picture Thread

    I'm thinking about buying The Sims Castaway Stories and The Sims Life Stories used on Amazon, maybe The Sims Pet Stories. The only one that is not cheap is Castaway (about $20 US). I really want to play because I've only played TS1, 2, 3, and 4 but it scares me buying used games.

    I ordered all 3 (used) and 2/3 games have arrived. This thread will now be a picture thread. If you have any, feel free to share.
    So far Castaway and Life Stories both work just fine on Windows 8.1. You can adjust the resolution the same way you can with TS2. Using some CC is possible including defaults. I'm using default skin and eyes.

      Have you played them yet? I only had Life stories, and I really enjoyed it. But that was before my PC could handle the full Sims 2 game. Good luck!

      Nope! I've never played any of the stories. Just purchased the other two after watching videos on YouTube. Ok, no more spending! :D

      I love how at the beginning you were worried about buying it, then bam, you bought it. I do that too :D Oh I don't know if I should buy this, then the next minute I find myself in checkout :blush:

      Hope you enjoy them! I've only played Sims Castaway Stories (multiple times) and it was super fun! :smiley:

      @PHOEBESMOM601 I don't know if this is true or not but Origin can add a digital copy of it to your account. You will need at least the case if not the code to show proof. The code won't register but they might ask for it anyways.

      I want Castaway!! I used to LOVE that game back in the day. Where can I get it (hopefully not too expensive).

      @xBob18 I found my copy on Half for under $20 but when I checked they only have one copy for the same price but it's not in good condition. Amazon is at least $30 for a good copy and Ebay has a few copies for a fair price. I wish EA would do a re-release of all the Sims (meaning TS1 and TS2) games, it would make it so much easier for people to get the games when they couldn't (or didn't) get the games when they were first out. :disappointed:

      If it's a matter of giving info on line....are you in the US? If so this is always an option for eBay.

      @xBob18 Depending on where you live, you could pick up a visa gift card and buy it that way online. I Purchased all three on Amazon for a little under $50 but that's because shipping was a little pricey. I have a hard time trusting ebay.
      @NerdySims99 Oops, I might of grabbed the last good copy for $20 then. :D It's around $23 + shipping on Amazon now.Hope you can find a good deal somewhere.

      When I was collecting a few TS2 packs I bought several on eBay with no problem. You just have to watch the listings and make sure you check to see if it has a code. I got several 5 and 6 dollar deals and they were great.

      @Olivesplum06 You can buy it used. $89.99 is for a new copy. I got mine used and it's like new without the plastic wrap.

      Those are great pictures @Simasaurus09 . I never bought any of the stand alone sims pc games. Are they better than console games, because I don't like those.
