Silver's Campfire Stories (Formerly A Sim Campfire)

Hi everybody and welcome Silver's Campfire Stories. Grab a marshmallow or weiner to roast on the open fire then sit back and enjoy the adventures of my new Sim families. Comments are always welcome.
Let me start by introducing myself:
My real life name is Janet (Jan Tedfor in my studio is myself) but I go by the the name of Silver which is taken from my username, SilverDaybreak (In memory of my part Arabian mare that I use to ride). I am from Sussex, New Brunswick and live with my wonderful husband and 2 cats Muffy and Buffy. Currently I'm unemployed and have spent the last two and a half years trying to get my health and life back which I can say is finally coming together.
I am basically an 'As it happens' type player and like to see how the game unfolds by helping my Sims achieve their wants, goals and reach the top of their careers as well as help romantic relationships along when the opportunity arises. My current Sims 4 legacy is called 'Celtic Heritage' where the founding Sim is/was my new special friend in RL, Renee. If you have Facebook my Sim stories are all on my 'silversimstories' page. Please feel free to add me as a friend there, too. I always enjoy meeting new Simmers and making friends. Will try to post pictures here if I can figure out how to do it as well.
Would love to see my former Sims 3 friends join in, so if you're out there Jazen, Sharona, Fairybird, Fru, Arrowleaf, Dreamerz, Ivory (when she returns to us), Madhatter, Spidergirl, Wickichick, Anon, Faye (or whatever name you're using here), and Anna please stop by and say 'hi' and I want you to know that I miss the old regulars from Wickichick's old Sims 3 thread.
I have retired 'Celtic Heritage' but am beginning three new legacy families:
1. Hardy Crime Busters with founding Sims: Frank & Joe Hardy with Callie (who is now Frank's wife) along with Ned & Nancy (Drew) Nickerson
2. Valley Bakery featuring my Simself & husband, Janet & Grant Tedford
3. Golden Gate Medical Center starring one of the best TV docs of all time Dr Gonzo Gates (from Trapper John, MD)

To post them, just save them someplace on the web, like in your blog or Flicker, then grab the URL for the photo and click the Insert photo icon (looks like a page with the corner turned down) and the copy the URL in there!

OMG, yes I know my life has been so in and out lately, but finally I getting back to normal, well, normal as I get any ways :P

It's so noisy in there, I can't hear myself think! And crowded. I'll just sit here in a quiet corner for a sec and sip a little Indian green tea while I write my newest post. Hope you're happy and well today and daydreaming of horses!

This is me, Nathan fishing in our backyard with my brother, Cameron (who will introduce himself tomorrow) cleaning up the picnic area. Cameron moved in with me after our mother, Violet passed away while visiting me a few Sim weeks ago.

Let me introduce Diyan Johnson who is now my lovely wife and mother of our son, Dylan who is pictured below.
I'm am currently working my way to the top of the painter career while fulfilling goals to reach my ultimate goal of becoming a 'Painter Extraordinaire'. Here are some of my masterpieces:
That's all I'll share for now but I am happy to announce that Diyan & I are eagerly awaiting the birth of our second child.
Please come to visit us in our home located in Willow Creek in the middle class neighborhood of the neighborhood. Welcome to any of you who would our neighbors (if we weren't separated by separate games.)

Please meet Fernand & Ellen LeBlanc who were started in Sims 3 but due to technical difficulties (Sims 3 not loading for me), I recreated them in Sims 2 and they are now settled in the lovely country neighborhood of Pleasantview. During their first week, Fernand got a job in the architecture career while Ellen decided to follow her dream of reaching the top of the Entertainment field. They also adopted their first 2 pets so that Fernand could begin working towards his lifetime goal of having six pets reach the top of their career. Heidi (a black cat) is in the show biz career while Lulu (a black lab) is helping others in the service career. Fernand and Ellen also welcomed their first child, a son whom they named Cody into the world.
Their legacy is called, 'Country Folk: Generation 1: Pleasantview Entertainment.

I'm hoping to get back to my Sims this weekend, hubby has some night shifts, so if I can do this 'relaxing' thing ppl keep telling me to do, I'll hope to some simming

Well, I managed to get my Newcrest 'Village' sorted with Medieval houses and a few community lots too, now just need to populate with Sims that suit and then I can make my Sims for my story.

This is my 'Baby Blue' house that is decorated cheaply for the single or new couple Sims with room for adding an upstairs in the future.

Had to see the dentist today, so I'm now being sooky and going Simming for the afternoon, SHOCK HORROR!!!
I might even get a prologue or chapter out, who knows... if anything, I'll have Sims to show you guys tomorrow
Ivory: Hope you had fun Simming, yesterday and that your appointment went well.

This is Eveliniah Murray who moved to Belladonna Cove in hopes of making 'A Better Life' for herself. Her first week in town ended on an upsetting note when she got fired from her job (after I picked the wrong choice in a career pop-up situation). Early in my visit, Eveliniah found a job in the 'Slacker' career as a golf caddie and has had 3 promotions since.
Two of Eveliniah's neighbors, Calista Fuchs and the man in the apartment next to her, fight almost nonstop. Eveliniah usually calls Calista (who is now her best friend) over to try and calm her down.

Please meet Ellen Otaguro who is the second daughter of Charlie & Cathy (1st generation of Hawaiian Roots legacy). When Sims 3 stopped working I recreated her in Sims 2 to save the legacy.
