Hello Fellow Simmers,
I've noticed that when I marry sims that the wife does NOT take her husband's last name. This happens even when I make the man initiate the marriage. Then when children are born, they take their mother's last name. Has this been fixed or is this an issue for anyone else?

You can do it now without cas.fulleditmode, actually
(omigosh, I knew a thing @rosemow didn't? that is not a normal thing!)
Thankyou for letting me know about that !

> It's been that day since day one. I believe a recent patch made it so you can change the name yourself in CAS, but I may be misremembering.
thnks
You can not change names. You can make a hyphenated last name for both. You can change his name for legacy purposes.
In Sims 3, I used Nraas MasterController and I had it set to ask me about names so I always got to pick.
Now that you can change their name when using the dresser to Plan Outfits, I like that it's my choice.
