Plants in build from Outdoor Retreat missing since Newcrest Patch

Pretty much the title, since updating the sims 4 with Newcrest Patch, I've noticed some of the Outdoors retreat Plants are missing from the catalog. I thought maybe they limited plants to certain maps, but when i was on one of the camping lots i couldn't even interact with the ferns, move them or clone them (one of the plants missing).....tried repairs too :s

Hello.
You have tried repairing the sims 4 game but also try repairing any other EP/stuff/ Game packs that you own and see if that helps.
To repair the EP/stuff/game packs, you need to click the sims 4 picture, then click the little "i" button that is next to the play button, and that will take you to a screen that shows the Eps/game/stuff packs that you own. Right click each of them and click repair.

Yes, sadly I repaired each of the separate packs too, with no change.

Perhaps try clearing the cache files and see if that helps .

If that doesn't help, close the game and origin completely. Back up your Sims 4 folder. Then go to
programs(x86)\Origin_Games\TheSims4 and move the folder called GP01 to your desktop.
Then log into Origin again, go back to the Outdoors retreat section where you repaired it before, and download the game pack again.

Thanks for all the suggestions, unfortunately after all those tips too (and re-downloading 600mb, to my dismay on capped plan) items are still missing. Seems to be the trend with things being added, you win some you lose some. Hopefully they'll return eventually... :/

this has happened to my game too, and nothing I've tried (yes, all of the above) has done anything to bring back the flowers and shrubs. The trees from the pack are there though.

Thank goodness I'm not crazy! It's not just me :D but i also looked up the pack and the plants were no longer there (trees were still), but i remember being able to use the ferns and dry ferns for example? :s maybe they changed it...... i want my flowers and shrubs back :'(

Now that I'm reading this thread I'm pretty sure mine are missing too, I remember thinking something was off when I was landscaping a garden just now... I don't usually use the plants from OR, so I didn't really pay attention to it, but they weren't there, I'm sure of that.

They're hidden. Use 'testingcheats on' then 'bb.showhiddenobjects' then type "fern" into the search box in build mode. Hopefully they'll fix this soon.

They are still showing in buyDebug so use bb.showhiddenobjects for the moment.

Mine too. And the other one i lost toilet door for genre also in build mode. Idk is this kind of mod that im using it with or its just in the basic game. If it is in the basic game, then the toilet door for men and women only is missing too from the build mode, i just knew it few hours ago when im going to make toilet in the high school and i can't find the men/women toilet door.

Hello @fandan20.
Repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.
The door may have returned when you restart the game.

If the toilet door is a cc item, it may not be showing up because of the latest patch.

I'm dealing with the same issue. Thankfully they do show up with the showhiddenobjects cheat, but they aren't able to be replicated :/ hopefully they will come out with a fix soon!

Any idea of when this may get fixed? It has been several weeks and we are still missing items that were paid for.

I just updated my game today (yeah I'm slow with updating Origin) and NONE of my OR stuff shows up since I did so. I paid for it, and its a shame stuff we all paid for vanished. I don't even have a "repair game" option. :/

We got a patch on 6/11 so I wouldn't have expected another so soon after. I'm sure there is one coming this week or next. There should be some good fixes in that one!

Hello @kiddypatches.
Shut down your computer completely, then reboot your computer, then go onto origin and try to repair the Outdoor Retreat game. To do that, you need to click the sims 4 picture, then click the little "i" button that is next to the play button, and that will take you to a screen that shows the Eps/game/stuff packs that you own. Right Outdoor Retrear and click repair.
