Welcome to Trendsetter!
The newest high fashion competition where you can show off your creativity and your style for a wide variety of assignments. Each assignment will have a different theme which can range from punk fashion to fantasy couture, this competition will test your ability to create high fashion images with completely different themes.
I will be accepting female and male models this cycle!
The competition will have 10 assignments in total excluding the mock and will begin on 15th June or sooner if we get a substantial amount of interest as I know many of you will be busy leading up till then so hopefully that will give you time to be able to commit to the competition!
No negativity towards other contestants or belittling yourself
Judges comments / scores are most likely personal to their own tastes or likes so please be respectful towards our judges
CC is allowed and recommended
Editing is allowed and strongly recommended
No Face Plastering or Photo Skinning
Only 2 extensions per author per cycle, I will be keeping track!
Extensions only last 2 days max. and I will only accept them 24 hours before the deadline of the current assignment
Each assignment lasts 7 days unless it is more complex or there are two parts to it and I will state underneath whether extensions will be accepted or not that round
I set deadlines at GMT time so ask if you need it changed to your timezone!
If you are going to post nude images please use a link so your image doesn't post directly onto the forums!

Models, your first assignments were all great and showed you all have potential to be the next trendsetter! This week you have two assignments to complete as I am going on holiday until the 2nd August and these two assignments will both be the only non elimination assignments in the competition!
Assignment One - Sporty Editorials
Your first assignment this round is a sporty editorial shoot, from tennis to trampolining I want you to create a high fashion editorial shoot based around a certain sport. You should be wearing attire that is reminiscent of your chosen sport and perhaps equipment etc. but remember this is a fashion competition so keep it fashionable!

Assignment Two - High Contrast
Your second assignment this round requires a lot of creativity. This shoot requires a high contrast section to your black and white image ( look at the example image for an idea of what I'm looking for .) You can take this fairly loose theme and use it however you want to. Your styling should be extreme high fashion! Good Luck!

I have almost no complaints about this image Sofia, you did an amazing job of punk fashion and I love the set you've chosen and the dark, grungy tones you used here. My only minor issue with this shot is that your hair drawing looks slightly flat as there aren't too many shadows and highlights which would help give it more depth. But overall this image was great for the assignment, brilliant job!

I absolutely love your styling Lady, it's punky, rebellious and brilliant although I'm not too sure on the headpiece although it does look quite high fashion and out there! I love your set it is perfect for this assignment. Overall I don't have too many complaints about the shot although the pose doesn't show much of a rebellious attitude but overall a great shot!

I love this Heather! Jamie's styling is brilliant and your location is great although the quality of it is a bit off unfortunately in comparison to your model. I'm not the biggest fan of the pose as it doesn't show a very punk attitude I would have preferred something more fierce and high fashion but overall I think this is a great shot!

Great shot Adriana! I like your styling for the most part, the tartan skirt is great! I would have preferred Macy to have a more wacky, punky hairstyle rather than it just naturally and loose perhaps shaved or dyed an unnatural colour. Your set is great but the quality and brightness of it don't match the quality of your model which makes the shot look a bit off but overall this shot is brilliant!

I love your styling here Kyle, Keely looks great! Her pose is brilliant and very high fashion. I'm not the biggest fan of the set though as when I think of punk I don't really think of a tropical island but you made it work here which is great. I think if the image was a bit darker it would have been more reminiscent of the grungy elements of punk. Overall a great image!

Lovely image Eli! I like your styling for the most part but to me it isn't very reminiscent of punk styling as it is too coordinated and not edgy enough maybe some fishnets and a spiked hairstyle would have helped make Blake look more edgy! I like your set here but the quality of it doesn't match Blake too well. Your pose also could have been more strong and fierce to give Blake a more rebellious look in this shot! Overall not too bad of a shot Eli, can't wait to see what you come up with next round!

Nice shot Socal, I love your styling it is very different and unique which I like! Your location is good, I love the graffiti on the wall and I must say your hairstyle is very reminiscent of punk style here with the shaved head! The main hindrance here is the quality as the filter you've used degrades the quality of the image, overall not too bad Socal, keep it up!
I figured I'd give opening a high fashion competition a shot, don't worry if you you're in a bunch of competitions as this won't get fully underway till the end of July
I shall probably put in my app closer to the starting date, since I think most of my contests I'm in now will be over or I'll be out :P
