She likes Norton. I do too (though I prefer Bitdefender), it has proved itself before, and it doesn't give my computer performance issues.
I would not trust Norton, but that's my preference.

I ran the free version on my computer and it said it found a virus so I told it to clean it and it deleted windows 7's framenet work files. I had to re-install windows 7 to fix my computer.
I used to have Norton and couldn't download or get any Mod into my sims until I replaced it with AVG and got rid of Norton.I won't use Norton again if I'm running sims on that computer because it blocks Mod downloads.
Webroot. I had Norton originally but it was terrible and caused massive lag. Webroot uses a lot less space and processing power and monitors a file. If it finds a file did something bad to your computer it deletes the file and removes all changes to your computer.
Never will I ever spend money on a virus protector. I have gotten rid of many viruses without paid protectors. If Windows Defender can't find the problem then I use the free version of Malwarebytes.
