I don't think you're going to get a lot of feedback tonight. A lot of people are a bit disappointed with this last patched and logged.
It's okay. Just wish there was more jobs you can "Go To Work". The Bakery/Retail is fun. It's a bit more tolerable with this last patch. If you want to see more feedback I'd go to the GTW threads.

    Congrats!

It's quite alright. I haven't really played with aliens yet cuz I'm not a big fan. But if you are, I think you might like it. And I also heard the scientist career is fun too.

Hope you have more fun with it than I do. Frankly, it's not worthy of being an EP.
Dissatisfied with Sims 4 and hoping for a better Sims 5

What's up with all those GTW questions and feedback ending up in GD? But glad you like it, @Dariu

I love it and it does have alot of content compared to open for business and ambitions. It does take some getting use to though and it will get boring after a while because GTW is the only expansion we have so you play the hell out of it's features.

I want to make a story about a male sim who got impregnated by an alien
and his son/daughter will be abused by him as he is a deadbeat, which would trigger a catastropically devastating path that the child grow up to be a villain unlike any other. where his father would be killed by being walled up into a room to rot/die of old age.. while he rules with terror...
and in due process... several undergound people work hard to restore order by trying to stop the evil of the alien child.. and in an experiment which blew up... created a rip in the time/space continuum which brought forth the male sim as a young boy (the father) to their timeline..
and how as a child he conceal his true identity since he is surrounded by strangers in an otherwise unknown area. and became their new recruit to which the child grows up learning of everything about the chaos that runs rampant and such as he gets older and he fights the villainous evil alien son/daughter at the same time trying to connect to his daughter/son.. but inevitably things become more and more tragic and in the end to put a definite end to the villainous future son/daughter... in the last desperate moment he sacrificed himself to which were he not to exist his daughter/son wouldn't either. and as expected when he died. his evil alien son/daughter vanished into thin air like nothing ever existed.

I like this EP. Tony Stark is a scientist and his wife Barbie sells all the extra serums, crystals, or whatever he creates and find "on the pink market" lol After a while things become repetitive at work so I have him do whatever I want him to do but he may not bring home a complete paycheck. I go to work with him when I want to use the rocket, and other machines there, other than that sending him off to work on his own as if going to a rabbit hole is nice too. That way I can play the rest of the household.

I have played the doctor's career a little. It's nice but it's best to rearrange the equipment you have to use in that place. Everything is way spread out too much like a real hospital. lol

I've yet to try the investigator career. I'm sure it's fun. I enjoyed it in sims 3. I like the retail portion of the the EP as well.

    I don't regret buying it! :)

I had this story in the sims3, with a sim named David, who was a scientist. I've enjoyed the fact that I could now recreate that sim and push his story further with the now playable scientist career! So I plunged right into it. I got from creating a clone, to shooting annoying sim with the amazing raygun >:), got abducted, gave birth to the cutest alien ever <3 , reached level 10 and hanged with other aliens on a party at Sixam!

So for adding details and fun to the story of my sim David, it was a success with this EP.

I got it for a Mother's Day present.

ETA: I would love to have been able to *play* the game. Unfortunately, I can't do that because I get an error message...unable to connect to EA servers with this account with my computer. Just got off the phone with EA "tech" support. What a joke.

    Dear Ea: You s.u.c.k swampwater.

    In other words...you plum.

I really enjoy the GTW ep. I enjoy detective and doctor most. I was looking forward to scientist the least and it exceeded my expectations.

Retail - that's fun too but also, but it's best to run one with a large household of Steens/adults and no employees. Haven't played much on retail lots since the newest patch though.

Update on my last reply: Origin's activation servers seem to be down. Turns out other people are also having problems logging into the other Origin games including Dragon Age Inquisition. Well, it's nice to know I'm not the lone ranger.

I just tried Get To Work..

.... being detective seemed a bit disappointing especially with the short time span and that arduous...
    select "Fingerprint Suspect"
    stands there with the criminal...
    45 minutes later of standing...
    fingerprint action.
    select "Take Mugshot"
    stands there with criminal...
49 minutes later of standing still...
    take mugshot action
"YOU HAVE DONE YOUR WORK FOR THE DAY, TIME TO GO HOME NOW"
    =="

I cant stay at work and do overtime and make the office my second home by sleeping on a chair by a desk?
    !?

    Try retail...

    ...hire person.
    opens shop
person hired came in... as a customer.
had to fight gloriously to accommodate every customer singlehandedly.
    next day...
    worker comes in
    set duties to answer question
ended up doing all the work and she was on her handphone half the time

    ....

basically before i sell the shop in day 5
i spent most of my time yelling, criticizing and getting mad at my employee
    while doing all the work.
and she goes "oh looks like job is done for the day, i should go home now"
and im like "YOU USELESS SON OF A Llaama!!! DO YOUR JOB OR I'LL MAKE SURE YOU WONT GET A JOB EVER IN THESE 3 WORLDS RELEASED THUS FAR!"

....but whats even more crazy is, I hired her as an elder
and in day 4 she came in as an "adult"
and now she remains in my game as an adult

    @_@

    WHATS GOING ON!?

seriously the stand in a certain spot for 40+ minutes seem like a scourge in this game.
