Do you use Npc Stores in your game?

I know most people have their sims run them but how many of you use them for your sims to shop in?

Mine went to one and browsed a while, but at the moment I'm not very interested in running one, maybe later.

I've actually never bothered. I set one as the date location for my sims, but only so I could use Magnolia Promenade's scenery in the background of my screenshots.

Yep. As many as I can squeeze into the tiny worlds without using my residential lots. So far I've added a bridal shop, 50's Diner, Butcher shop, Ice cream shop and Starbucks. (Using custom content, of course.) I plan to add a bookstore so I don't have to shop from the bookcase and a grocery store that includes the harder to find fruits and veggies.

I found out about most of it from Simsvip and many do come from tumblr. You just scroll to the bottom to find the download links. Make sure to download everything that goes with the lot.

For the ones that don't include the lot, you can usually find one that someone else has made in the Gallery. Just tick the box for "Custom Content." Simdoughnut's lots are found under his username in the gallery.
